I couldn't help but feel worried, when I got home that night. My mind kept thinking about that school magazine I'd read earlier that day. Could it be true that I'd be put in prison for life if I got caught? It had to be true, I mean why would they lie about it, and after all I'd done some extremely bad things so why wouldn't I be put into prison?

"So how was your first day at school today?" Hattie asked, for what seemed like the hundredth time that day. I hadn't told her about the magazine, I didn't want to get her worried or anything, and I didn't even want to begin to think, what would happen to Hattie, if I got life in Prison, her punishment would be even more severe since she's an adult and she's been protecting me all this time.

"It was fine." This is what I answered every single time she asked. I didn't tell her how I hated it, or about what happened in the morning where I'd been tripped.

"Did you make any new friends?" This is what happened every single time I started a new school, she would ask me a million questions, I knew she was just being friendly and looking out for me but I was sick of it.

"Nope, not yet." I replied, I thought of Evan for a second, could he be considered a friend? I didn't mention his name though, Hattie would only get all excited because he has to have been the first friend I've had in years, and since he's a boy.

She has this sorta obsession with men I guess. Asking me all sorts of weird, awkward questions about any random men she sees.

Do you think he's cute?

Do you think he might have a six pack?

Do you think he's big down there?

Well, hey I did say they were strange, I think the last question is her favourite since she asks me that the most. I smiled to myself just thinking about it.

"Really? No one? has anyone even tried to talk to you?" Hattie sat next to me on the sofa, and pulled her feet up. She is so pretty, I wish I looked like her. She has jet black hair and dark chocolate coloured eyes, she is naturally tanned and she has a gorgeous figure.

"Well, yeah this boy tried to talk to me at lunch." I decided to tell her that much, just to make her back off for a while, but I should have known better.

"A boy?!" She had that sparkly look in her eyes that I knew oh so well, I could see the excitement all over her face.

"Yes Hattie, a boy, you know those things that are the opposite of a girl?" I said sarcastically.

"Hey no need to be sarcy!" Hattie had a tendency to make up her own nicknames for words she claimed were way too long.

"I was just making sure, I'd heard right, so tell me what he looks like?" She grinned at me, whilst sipping her tea, another thing she was obsessed with.

"Err..a boy?" I tried to avoid the subject.

"I could have told you that." Hattie rolled her eyes at me.

"I meant go into detail, elaborate!" She urged me to go on, but before I even had time to open my mouth, the doorbell started to ring. Talk about saved by the bell.

"I'll get it." I mumbled before standing up and rushing to the door.

"Hello are you Kirsty Midred?" A blonde haired girl about my age stood at the door.

I felt my heart thudding in my chest, almost as if my heart would pop out any second. All I could think was someone has found out, someone has found out who I really am and now everyone is after me again. Why had I opened the door?

"Who's at the door?" I could hear Hattie's voice in the background, although it was barely audible over the sound of my heart.

"Yes." I squeaked, scared for myself, and scared for Hattie.
