Either tomorrow or Monday, the dog I grew up with it being put down.
Her name is Frisky and she is 13 like me.
I was about 5 months old when we got her, but now she's old and she doesn't enjoy life anymore.
This is the best thing for her.
She has a growth in her nose which may be cancer, her nose is dried up (dogs noses are supposed to be wet 24/7), she has bumps all over her body, her nose and eyes are infected.
As hard as it is for us -- she's been a great dog-- she deserves the best.
All of our extended family got dogs around the same time.
Chip was 16 and he was put down a couple of months ago.Annie was 14 and she was also put down a couple of months ago.
Snowy was 11 and he was put down a couple of days ago.
Frisky will be dead within a couple of days.
Goodbye Frisky. We love you. You were the best dog. Even if we get another dog you will always have a special place in my heart.
