So the title may be a slight exaggeration but only slightly I promise. This was the first time that I was actually genuinely terrified that I would die.
So I was at theatre rehearsal (the show I'm in) and my mom always goes to the mall which is right across from it while I rehearse. Well tonight there was a storm. A bad one. And it happened so sudden that we didn't have time to take shelter so we were told to go to the back of the room that we were in... then everyone decided we were gonna risk it and go to the mall. My theatre friend grabbed me cause I had no idea where my mom was at that point and I don't have a phone. So my friend dragged me to her car and I coulda been being kidnapped but honestly I didn't care one bit.
So all we did was drive across the parking lot but by the time we did that, things were so bad it was hard to walk. We almost didn't make it inside the building.
I somehow ended up in the same shelter as my family and the storm passed us by.
God is good.
