"Raindrops"

Paris's POV

Me and Kane have been talking for around 3 weeks now. But I feel like we don't talk in tutor just give each other glances and laughs then and there. But it's kind of like if I don't text him he won't text me back maybe he just doesn't want to talk At all. I mean his extremely popular and knows everyone, but when it comes to me I know people but they don't know who I am or there's only a small amount of people I can call my actual best friends. Or even my friends for that matter. I just get all tense and my heart stops I wanna talk to him but I just can't get the words out. It's strange to explain but its just the way it is I guess.

"Paris" snapping me out of my deep thoughts I heard a voice call me from the other side of the hall. I turned around only to find there was no one there the hall was still empty. I carried on walking towards the outside cafe area i looked at the window to see it covered in raindrops. "Great raining again like always" i thought to myself. I wallked towards the main exit getting prepared to walk fast through the outside cafe to the other side of the school.

I pushed on the door and it wouldnt open it was locked?

I pushed again hoping this time it would open but still nothing.

I looked down at the door to see the sign said pull. Great. I pushed on the door and it finally opened. There was no one around as i was on the way to tutor and i was late, hopefully Kane will be there and he might start talking to me.. Yeah that won't happen. Getting lost in my thoughts i carried on walking only to bumb into someone i looked up to see it was Kane he was soaked from the rain, as if he just got out the shower.

"Oh god sorry" I said after plucking up some courage. My heart was beating so fast almost as if he could hear it. He stared at me. The raindrops slowly dropping on the floor from his hair i plucked up the courage to say something else.

"Why do you look as if you've just got out the shower" i said with a slight giggle.

"Wait that was a stupid question its raining" i thought to myself.

He pointed up to the roof i could hear the raindrops falling. "Its raining if you didn't know" I laughed which made him smile. By now my heart felt as if it was going to drop out my mouth.

As we both started to walk away from each other he turned around to me and shouted,

"By the way its pull not push maybe read the sign" He laughed and so did I.

I was left alone again with my thoughts. "Omg he was watching me the whole time that was a proper conversation well it wasn't but i actually spoke to him i can't believe it and we was both laughing" Snapping me out of my thoughts once again i saw Mr cell coming my way.

Mr Cell was one of the most strictest teachers in the whole school everyone feared him even if they acted like they didn't they secretly did. He was in charge of the whole detention thing which personally i think is silly but he must think otherwise. I was about to make a run up the stairs so he wouldn't catch me but his piercing gaze must have landed on me.

"You there come back here right this instant" His loud voice filled the empty corridor.

I had to make a decision keep on running up the stairs only to be hunted and found later or suffer now. I mean he didn't exactly know me because believe it or not I've never had a detention before which scared me he doesn't know me so it will be hard for him to figure out who i am?

But i didn't wanna risk it i slowly walked from behind the wall only to face a large tall figure which looked down on me.

"What do you think you're doing its tutor time and instead your wondering the halls" He was still shouting but really there was no need but i just stayed quiet.

My brain switched off what he was saying until i saw a door open behind him and a figure quietly walked through and turned to me. It was Kane. He looked at me and laughed. Even though i was getting shouted at by the most scariest teacher in school he made me laugh through it. He carried on walking before i could see where he went i realised i was still stood infront of the most horrible teacher in the whole entire school.

"Where is your tutor i will walk you back and inform your tutor why you are late and that you will never miss tutor again"

"My tutor is A23" Gosh I'm late and whats the big deal I've never done nothing wrong and I'm getting treated like some sort of criminal. I walked up the stairs quickly hoping that this could all be over and i would just be back in bed.

As i walked into tutor i kept my head held low why Mr Cell was ranting about me being late to what felt like the whole class. I looked up to see Kane laughing but trying to hide it but he wasn't doing a good job. A smile creeped onto my face as i got a chair and placed it down in my regular seat next to him. He was still laughing.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket i looked down carefully without getting caught to see a text from Mona light up my screen.

'That was me calling your name how did you not see me Lol anyways meet me and Lola at the library for lunch because of the rain x'

So far today isn't so bad?
