Chapter Eight: "What's the plan?"

We sat with Laila and Holly, who was snacking on goldfish, at our usual table. I liked coming in here from time to time, only when there was hardly anyone here. It's peaceful when its quiet.

L: "Ok so what happened?"

P: "We were coming inside from having lunch in the courtyard and Laurette pushed Ashley into one of the cafeteria doors, making her drop her pictures of Alex. Niki saw one picture and went after it for Ashley." I had explained what happened. Rianne had explained what she had seen when she had left us.

Nath; "I don't understand what their deal is. Why do they have to mess with us, we've done nothing wrong.

L: "We really haven't."

P: "I know. They treat us like verbal punching bags and do whatever the hell they want, when they want an NEVER get caught."

K: "And if they do they blame it on us."

R: "And we take the punishment for it. I know none of us are angels but we don't deserve this. Majority of the time we're innocent and Niki definitely is."

H: "Who created Arabecca and her friends anyway?"

Ashley: "The devil."

We all stopped for a second and looked at Ashley she looked like she wanted to cry. "Guys this all my fault. If I hadn't dropped my pictures Niki would still be here."

P: "No. If that cow didn't push you, you would've never dropped your pictures."

R: "Yeah its not your fault, its hers.

L: "so what are we gonna do to get her out?"

K: " I have an idea." Kate makes this sinister look on her face which is never a good thing. "I say we bust her out!"

Nath: Are you insane?"

K: ".....yes'...."

H: "I love Niki, but a jail break isn't worth it, especially if we get caught."

R: "Yeah thats not going to look good on a college resume"

Nathalie had gotten up to make a phone call.

K: "then what do you suppose we do?"

L: "We can call her mom."

P: "NO! We can't tell her mom if we tell her mom she'll think she had relaps, then she'll send her away to a boarding school for the misbehaved brats. you guys know Niki doesn't like strangers."

K: "Strangers are just friends you haven't met yet."

P: "...Kate."

K: "What? It's true."

R: "So we can't tell her mom then what are we gonna do?"

E: "Hi guys! Sorry i'm late." Emily came into the lounge with Christin following behind her, "You have no idea how hard it was to get here without getting caught. I had to flirt with this one dork just so he could let me leave, so what's up?" She asks in her chipmunk voice.

H: "Nothi-" Holly was cut off by Emily

E: " Where's Niki? She promised she'd help me with volleyball practice" She pulled out her volleyball out of her gym bag. Emily and Niki have been hanging out a lot lately when they made the connection with Twenty-One Pilots shirt. "She promised she'd help me. Where is she? Did she flake on me? She never flakes ." Emily started to get teary-eyed. Emily used to tell me how much she loved hanging out with Niki. She feels like she has a big sister all over again since her sister left for college and hasn't been back since.
