This is the famous Peter's Playlist that is referenced many times in the book. I have to of course give credit to the amazing bands and singers of the songs alluded to in the story :3 I highly encourage you guys to go listen to some of these songs! They are all so good! There were a lot of songs that significantly suited Peter that I wanted to put on this playlist but I narrowed it down to a clean 50 songs :3 little fun fact, I actually have this exact playlist on my Spotify and I listen to it a lot to remind me of my childhood because a lot of the songs remind me of the younger me and I smile every time. This is part of the reason Peter as one of my favorite characters I have ever created is so close to me. :3 without further adieu, enjoy!
Peter's playlist:
1. "Grey Street" by: Dave Matthews Band (the second version. He made two and this one is better. In order to make this one easier to find, i'mma put it up above.)
2. "Uptown Funk" by: Mark Ronsin and Bruno Mars (I feel the song accurately brings out the prideful cocky side of Peter and it always makes me laugh to hear the song.)
3. "Hands Open" Snow Patrol
4. "Put Your Hands Up" by: Matchbox 20 (fun fact: I listen to this song as an annual tradition on the first day of school ever since I started eighth grade and it's part of the reason I put it on the playlist because my eighth grade year inspired a lot of the school's setting and some of the characters.)
5. "How Far We've Come" by: Matchbox 20 (aaaaand I listen to this one on the last day of school :P lol)
6. "Warning" by: Green Day (I'd have to say, Peter listens to a lot of good music from my childhood as well as his own but his favorite band of all time probably always will be Green Day. If he ever met them, his lifetime dream would come true.)
7. "Jackass" by: Green Day (XD okay so the first time I heard this song, I immediately registered it as Peter's song to Tony and just laughed with him.)
8. "Wake Me Up When September Ends" by: Green Day (this song reminds Peter of his father and often brings tears to his eyes. It is a good song for him to grieve every now and then.)
9. "Holiday/Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by: Green Day
10. "21 Guns" by: Green day (he sings this song on the bus to Jessica in part of the story and it is an amazing moment they share so as part of experiencing the book, if you have t heard this song you should check it out :3)
11. "Fast Car" by: Tracy Chapman
12. "Crash Into Me" by: Dave Matthews Band (note: if I ever have a crush on someone, you can often find me listening to this song and just smiling. I share this in common with Peter so I put this on the playlist :3)
13. "The Space Between" By: Dave Matthews Band (this is just another anthem sort of song for Peter and Jessica as are most of these songs.)
14. "Ants Marching" by: Dave Matthews Band (other than the meaning behind the song being rather depressing, this song really reminds me of Peter.)
15. "Crush" by: Dave Matthews Band (I love singing this song when I'm in a good mood and especially if I have a crush on someone. Another feel good song :P)
16. "Satellite" by: Dave Matthews Band
17. "Bulletproof Picasso" by: Train (this will forever be one of my favorite songs and one of my anthems in life and it also reminds me of Peter towards the end of the book.)
