Chapter 2 - Rachelle
"So we heard you're on the quidditch team with Rachelle, Draco?" My parents ask and I try to not make eye contact. I wish they'd stop asking questions.... They're embarrassing me. "In fact I am. I'm the seeker, and Rachelle is actually the best chaser I've ever seen." He smiles at me and I nod shoving mashed potatoes in my mouth. I can't believe my parents invited him for dinner! As if they hadn't seen enough of him over the summer. My mom looks at me and holds where her heart is and says, "that's our little angel!" I nod and smile my mouth full of mashed potatoes. She looks away and I roll my eyes then glance at Draco. He's always been good in crowds, and he's made quite an impression on my parents. "Darling, quit stuffing your face!" My dad exclaims and I set down the spoon and swallow. Draco looks at me, you have something right there. He points to my lip and I use the napkin to wipe it off my face. "I'm so glad Rachelle found a nice pure blood like yourself Draco, we were worried she'd find some mud blood or something!" My mom laughs. I hated when she laughed at muggle borns, they're the same as us, they just have different childhoods. In fact one of my best friends was a muggle born, although I'd never let my mom know... I'd be killed where I sit. As far as she knows I'm just another puzzle piece in their 'perfect' pure blood family. My dad smiles across the table and let's it out... "Did you know that Racelle has had a crush on you since you were 2nd years?" He smiles and I glare across the table. "Dad..... Stop." I mumble and he looks at me. Draco takes my hand to reassure me and I smile weakly. By the end of the night I could've sworn that Draco would never talk to me again but he surprised me. "I had a nice time Rachelle." He says and kisses me on the forehead. I snort and lean against the doorway, "yeah sure, if you subtract the awkward comments from my parents." I say. "It was a lovely dinner." He says again and then looks at me, "I'll see you tomorrow." He smiles. Walking away I let out a big sigh and slam the door. I'm such an idiot.Chapter 2 Rachelle
