Rachelle

"So how was Rachelle's BOYFRIEND?" My little sister smirked. "His name is Draco. And it was fine." I grit my teeth, I swear of she asked one more time or said 'boyfriend' in that obnoxious tone again I was going to loose it. "Did you kiss?" She said and began to make kissing noises. "None of your bees wax!" I glare at her. "Are you going to get married?" She asked. "No. We are 16 Amanda!" I exclaimed. Then my older brother, Blaine, walked in. "Sup dork wads?" He says and looks in the pantry for food. "Foods on the table chunky cheese." I say and hand him the plate of bacon. "So how was the boy?" He asks. "Can we get over it?! It was fine!" I say and stand up from the table. I walk off, my face burning red, I hate my family. They're all annoying purebloods who can't accept anyone different. I slam the the door and lay down on my bed. What's wrong with me? I groan loudly and turn to my side and pick up my wand. Ten and a half inches, dragon heart string, strong wand over all. My brother steps in the door. "Ok. What did mom and dad do?" Blaine asked as he peered through the doorway. "What makes you think they did anything?" I ask. "Oh, come on. Remember when I brought home a girl?" He says. "Fine. They totally mortified me and were complete embarrassments okay?" I tense. He nods and sits down on my bed next to me. "They tell them 'oh they started liking you in their 2nd year'!" He mimicked. "How'd you know?" I ask. "I haven't always been a buzzkill you know, I had a life." I thought about when I was little. No more than 12, my brother had brought home Sarah. She was young, naive, pretty, and head over heels for Blaine. But the question arose, "what blood are you?" And she told them half blood and their world slowly crumpled to the ground. I remember peaking from the door of my bedroom trying to hear the conversation. Sarah never came back for dinner, but Blaine would sneak out to see her. I remember once he brought me along because he needed company. I haven't seen or heard of Sarah since that night. "I remember." I say. That was the night my brothers heart broke in two, it was only 6 weeks after she was killed by a death eater. "Don't you ever stop trying though." He said and gave me a hug. "One wrong turn can ruin everything."
