Do you remember?

Zoë's POV

It's was black.

That was all I saw.

Black

It's weird how there's so many colors the only one I saw was black.

I don't know why it's was black.

But I do remember.

That was one question that came through my mind.

Do you remember?

Braylon would say that all the time.

'Do you remember when you fell off the swing and just laughed.'

'Do you remember when we thought my brother was going to die in football?'

'Do you remember...'

All these questions came to me then I saw the color blue, grey, all of the colors popped up. I saw someone come up to me but I didn't recognize them yet.

"Zoë can you hear me?" They asked.

"What happened?" I said as I looked around the room. I realised that I was in the nurses office.

"You passed out from stressed but you're going to be just fine i promise." She said.

"Am I still in school?" I asked.

"Yes you are. You've been out for 6 hours. We have 2 hours left. Do you have anyone to call to bring you home." She said.

I thought about it. My mom died, my dad lives across the country, my brother lives with my dad, my little brother he's to young.
I looked at her and shook my head and just cried.

"I have nobody. They all left me. I'm lonely. I'm poor. I just need help." I cried out. She rubbed my arm to reassure me.

"It's going to be okay I promise. Do you think a friends parent can take you to their house?" She said.

All I thought about was Braylon. He was on my mind at the point.

"I do but he hates me." I said as I looked at the ceiling.

"How about I call them in. They can talk to you." She said. I nodded and she asked what's their name.

"Braylon Jennings." I said as she smiled and walked out the room. This is going to be great.

Braylon's POV

I was doing my paperwork when the intercom came on. I put my pencil down to listen more. I really hope it's about Zoë.

"Can we please have Braylon Jennings down to the office?" They said.

I was so confused.

"Yes you can." Mr. Juan said.

I got up but he said to grab my stuff just in case. So I got my stuff and walked to my locker.

I walked to the office and had the thoughts.

I walked in and they smiled.

"Hi you called me down." I said awkwardly.

"Yes we did let me get the nurse." She said.
My eyes widened. Is this about Zoë. Is she awake.

"Hello Braylon we called you down because Zoë has woken up. She also said she didn't have anybody to take her home. So I asked if she had a friends parent to pick you up but all she said was she did but he hates her." She said. I looked down and shook my head.

"I don't hate her." I took a deep breath I'm just going to say it.
"I love her. I love her with all my heart, and I can't get over it at all. All I can say is can I see her?" I said looking into her eyes.

"I get it and yes you may." She said leading me into the clinic.

I walked in as the nurse walked out. I saw her lying there with her eyes opened.

"Zoë?" I said. She looked over and smiled at me. She took a breath and looked at me in the eyes.

"Why do you hate me?" She said as tears were escaping her eyes. I walked over to her and wiped away her tears.

"I don't hate you I-i-i..." I stuttered out I can't say it. But I know she likes me I saw the text. But she thinks I hate her. I don't.

"You what?" She said looking at me.

"I love you." I said as she looked at me in shock but I kept on going.
"I love you with all of my heart and can't ever get over it. Your just to God damn gorgeous. Your personality is beyond over bored you're just too nice to me when I've been so rude to you. I ignored you and you still have the privilege to smile at me when I walked in. I love you so god damn much." I said as I looked down at her.

"I want to be the one to hold you when your scared. I want to be the one that comforts you when your sad. I was to kiss you every night and everyday." I kept on rambling but she stopped me.

"Braylon?" She said as she just smiled.

"Just please forgive me." I begged.

"Come here" she said. As I got close she told to come closer. I came as I close as I could but when she cupped my cheek she brung down my face down and kissed me. I was shocked at first but finally kissed her back.

"I love you too." She said smiling.

"You don't know how long I wanted to do that." I said.

"How long then?" She asked

"As long as middle school." I said as I kissed her again.

"Will your mom be able to pick us up?" She asked.

"Ya I'll ask but she'll be excited to hear the news."

"But Braylon?" She said as I turned towards her.

"Ya"

"What are we now?" She asked.

"Well let me do this the proper way. Will you Zoë Wise be my girlfriend?" I said as I took her hand and kissed it.

"I would love to." She said as I leaned down and kissed her on the lips.
