Harry's POV:

That.

Was.

Wow.

That was the best kiss I've ever had. I mean, I've kissed people before but it's never been like that. It was just so.. indescribable. I felt fireworks exploding in my chest and it was like nothing else mattered. After my breathing had calmed down I looked into her eyes.

"I know you've been through a lot since we met but I would never have put you in that sort of danger on purpose." I pause to take in a shaky breath, my hand finds its way to her beautiful blonde hair and I wrap the ends around my fingers, her small hand holds my free one while her bandaged hand is caressing the back of my neck. "Please.. Please just believe me. I-I need you to believe me.." I plead and tears well up in my eyes, I hope she doesn't notice. She gives me a small smile.

"I believe you."

A smile breaks out on my face and she copies me. I reach out to wipe the tear streaks off her cheeks and her eyes flutter closed for a second.

"Hey I'm back! Sorry there was this massive queue then I thought I saw Jaymi and then it turned out it wasn't Jaymi and I felt like an idiot for following him and talking to him, but then he said I was cute and he gave me his number so omg I've got a date!" Alex squeals, Kay shoots away from me instantly and blushes hard. I chuckle then shoot him a glare.

"Great Alex, can I have that water now my head still hurts." Kay says rubbing her head. Alex looks at me unsurely then hands her the water and she downs about half of it. She still looks in so much pain.

"I think you should go to the hospital to check everything's okay. I'll take you, c'mon let's go." I say walking towards her and taking her hand but she pulls away.

"No.. No I need to stay here and work." She says. What? Why doesn't she want to go? Is it me?

"Babe I'll be fine on my own now go and get checked out. Call me later though." Alex smiles and for once I'm glad he's here. She looks at him and it's like they're having this silent conversation.

"Fine but I'll definitely call you, thanks Alex." She says hugging him, she goes to the back room and fetches her bag and coat. We walk out the shop and through the shopping centre, neither of us say anything. Just comfortable silence surrounds us as we get into the car, I open her door for her like a gentleman and she blushes and mumbles a thank you.

Kay's POV:

"Just take these twice a day and don't play any intense sports or do anything crazy. You should probably go home and get some rest now though. But other than that, have a nice day." The doctor said. I thanked him repeatedly and then walked out the room to find Harry tapping his fingers on his legs while his eyes scanned the walls, I walked over and he smiled at me. I still felt a bit on edge with him after everything that has happened but I was coming round to the idea that he wasn't involved with Karl and those men. I have thought everything through and there are way too many things that stand against him being with them, like how he took me on a date when he could have just kidnapped me; as well as how he took a bullet for me.

"So... What did he say?" Harry asks eagerly while standing up, my breathing catches at his close proximity and I step back instinctively. I start to walk out and he falls into step with me.

"He gave me these" I showed him the bag of pills " He told me to take them twice a day and that I should go home and rest now but that's all.. Oh and I can't do anything 'crazy'" I said using air quotes and laughing. He chuckled

"That's good news, nothing fatal then. Now back to yours." He said with a slight smirk and a wiggle of his eyebrows, a tutted at him and his face turned all innocent,
