"Get your luggage off my foot, now! Hurry hurry! Find your seat! " a rather sort of, elderly, lady said as she pushed through the crowd of people gathered along the isles of the plane.
"Sorry," I muttered under my breath and stumbled away, trying to get my luggages to actually glide smoothly along the path without banging into everyone.
I found my seat, and put my luggages on the overhead compartment. I sighed as I sat down, at least content that I found my seat. My name's Eva Murray. Nice to meet you. I'm 17, born in Canada, but now I'm moving to England. My parents are, you know, very, very, very, fickle minded people. Well, I'm not really happy. Well, at the same time, maybe I am. I had no friends back in Canada, couldn't get along with almost everyone. Maybe its because I don't talk much. People in my school don't even know my name. Please, don't even get me started. My parents have already arrived in England, don't really know why they couldn't take the same plane as me, but oh well. I had the window seat, thank God. Beside me sat a middle aged man, maybe around 40 years old? Definitely a business man, with that suit and tie. My plan throughout the whole journey was to just sleep.
What else could I do besides watch a movie, sleep, eat and listen to music. Sooner or later the announcement came on, the stupid step by step instructional video came on and the plane took off within no time. I took out my headphones from my handbag and I plugged it into the system. I was really sleepy, so I took the time to get some rest. I woke up and we were only 2 hours through the flight. Gosh, really. What movie was I gonna watch? Winnie The Pooh? Simpsons? I couldn't fall back to sleep so I just watched Twilight. Yep, I did. Never had a thing for vampire stories. Neh. Well, let me tell you more about me, I guess. Um, I'm a really great student. Not giving out self praises here but I've never failed a single subject. I'm really clumsy as well, I drop almost everything. I guess relationship wise, I've only had one boyfriend? He and I only lasted about 5 months. He broke up with me because I grew a little taller and he didn't like the fact that I was taller than him. I know, stupid. I don't have any other siblings, although I really wish I had a younger sister.
That's basically all I can tell you, really. My life's really hella boring. Oh yes, I also don't swear, apart from the occasional heck, hell, and damn. I really do not like swearing. I try to refrain from it. Well well well, sooner or later I arrived in England, got my baggage and everything and guess what. My parents! They didn't even bother to pick me up! Gosh. Anyway, I took a taxi straight down from the airport to the hotel. The people in England seemed really nice and I've always wanted to live in England since I was a really young kid. Partially one of the main reasons why I agreed to come here. My only best friend back in Canada was a girl named Ashley, but she only needed me when she wanted something, so, not really a best friend, I suppose. Well I stepped into the hotel and met my parents in their rooms. I unpacked everything from my luggage. It was around, I don't know, 6 maybe 7 o clock in the evening?
"Eva, don't forget. You have school tomorrow. I've already registered you in your new school, Southbrooks High. You're in classroom 14," my mum told me as she patted my back.
School. Ugh. Who likes school? You just get judged for everything that you do, and even if you don't do anything, you still get judged. I smiled at my mum and told her I was just going to walk around and 'roam the streets'. I changed into my favourite blue sweater, and my black leggings. I took some money along with me. I was walking around, and the places seem really nice. So much shopping my mum and I could do! Man! I spotted a cafe across the road. I ordered some cake, and a chocolate frappe and sat down. As I was eating I sort of noticed a guy somewhere around my age, staring at me. I continued eating and he actually came up to me.
"Mind if I join you?" he asked.
"Oh, yeah, sure, definitely," I said, smiling. He smiled back at me and said.
"You seem like a nice girl, I'm really not here to hit on you. My name's Malfoy, Draco Malfoy. Nice to meet you."
"Eva, Eva Murray."
Draco. That was SUCH a cool name. He had really nice, white hair. Not the ugly, old people kinda white hair. The nice white hair. His eyes were stunning. They were blue, but the shade of blue was just so stunning. My goodness. His lips were a really pale pink and they had such a cute sort of heart shape. I quickly finished my cake and he gave me his number along with his address. Was he drunk or something I mean why give me your address? Anyway, I thanked him and smiled. I went home, and put his contact in my phone. It was kind of relaxing knowing people were actually this friendly. I went to bed and I couldn't stop thinking about the whole incident. Damn it Draco. I didn't tell my mum about it, she would murder me even if she just found out I had a crush! She's really overprotective. Don't know why. Isn't it normal for everyone to have a crush? What's so wrong?
