5 seconds of summer are my life. it's as simple as that. at the moment, it's 12:18 July 16, 2016. I just got finished watching their music video, 'Wherever you are'. I may not have been derping since 2011 but I sure have been by their side for a while. honestly I can say I'm obsessed with them. they're the best people you could ever be obsessed over. over the years, I've been watching them all grow up and change in different ways. from Michael's hair colors to Calum's new tattoos to Luke's hairstyles and to Ashton's progressive drumming skills. I love them. with all of my being. it all started with the "underwear song" haha I remember scrolling on YouTube with my best friends around me and we same across it. and my eyes immediately went to Luke, I think almost everyone in the fandom started out that way. and I remember saying how different they were from every other popular band at the time. they were so energetic and cute! I mean what other band had hot members all around except for 1D ???? exactly. anyways, I searched them up and found Luke's cover of 'A Drop In The Ocean' and instantly fell in love. after watching all of their videos and covers of songs,,,, annnd also after all my data was used.... I started saving all the pictures of Luke I could find. 400 and something pictures later 😂😂 I was running out of storage so I sent them all to my best friend, AT THE SAME TIME! bad idea...I froze her phone. we eventually got it fixed and I saved more and more pictures. I started buying posters and any band merchandise I could find. at the moment, I have around 30-40 things with them included. as in posters, drawing, pictures, shirts, bracelets, CDs, and buttons. yeah...call me obsessed????? whaaaat! meeee??? never!!??? I've been to two concerts so far with more to come. I've listened to all of their songs new and old. I've actually made a few internet friends within 5sauce. one of my best friends and I are the way we are because she told me she liked my 5sos sweatshirt on the first day of school. (I had my first concert the day before school, I was out of it. lesson learned) I listen to them when I'm sad, happy, or just in general because they're all my song list consists of. they've saved so many lives and they don't realize how important they are to us.
listen, if you were one of the people that were saved by them,,,
you are important and you do matter. you're a beautiful person inside and out. whether you're male/female or lgbt, labels don't matter. you are you and THATS all that matters. stay breathing and live your life. never take the pain out on yourself, it's not your fault. okay? stay calm and remember to breathe. my friend once told me that and it helped lots. if no one loves you, myself and 5 seconds of summer do. we love you with all of our hearts.
5sos will always be there for all of us. we love them and they love us. they've come so far in just 4 years. just imagine how many lives they can change in 10 ???
I don't know where I'm going with this but I guess this is an appreciation post ¿¿ 5sos will always be a part of my life. even when all the posters come down and all the band merch is packed away. always. btw happy birthday Lucas!
