The Day Lucy forgot

Chapter 11: Back in the guild, again

Lucy, Happy and I walked back to the guild with Gray, so Wendy would heal us. Yet again, we didn't go on the job. I was really looking forward to it. Maybe when I heal they will still need help.

We got to the infirmary and Wendy told Gray and I to say in bed. I was in the bed across from Gray. Hopefully he doesn't decide to start shit again. "Natsu" he said quietly.

"What do you want, ice princess?"

"I'm sorry for hurting you."

"Yea yea whatever. It didn't hurt."

"And for hurting Lucy. I didn't think you cared that much."

"Your serious right? You didn't think after all the things I saved her from, you didn't think I cared that much?"

"Well, I thought you would have done that with anyone in the guild."

"I guess."

Lucy was asleep on my bed side when we had that conversation. I was holding her hand. It was warm and soft, just like her lips. I wasn't even the one who grabbed her hand. She grabbed mine and smiled and put her head down on my bed and fell asleep. I loved her and now I new she loved me too.

"Ever try and hurt her again, and I won't hesitate to put you right back in here."

"Understood."

"You better treat woman better too. They are not toys. Try going for Juvia, go see her. You tore her heart in two because of this."

He didn't answer. He must of been thinking on how much damage he did to Lucy and Juvia. I'm glad Lucy and Gray broke up, now me and her can be together. Well things won't be the same around here now that this happen, but I wouldn't take it any other way. I fell for Lucy the day I met her. She is sweet and kind. After bringing her to the guild that day. Every event after that I could remember. She has gotten so strong. Hopefully, I can get out of bed, so we can hang out again. I fell asleep not to long after that. I didn't trust Gray after all this mess, I couldn't because I knew he was an idiot and I wasn't going to let him hurt Lucy again like he did for the past 4 weeks. I'm glad this whole mess is over. He better treat Juvia good to if he gets together with her. I'm sure she wouldn't care what he did to her as long as she was with him.
