Kaitlin started to run. She got faster and faster with every step. She felt as if she had been running for hours. Kaitlin eventually stopped. She stood still and quiet. She was scared. What if someone was following her. She heard the crunching noise again.
*crunch*
"COME OUT, COME OUT, WHEREVER YOU ARE!!"Kaitlin shouted.
"I AM NOT SCARED OF YOU!!"
*crunch**crunch**crunch*
She started panting but she couldn't help being loud. As a gust of wind passed her cheeks, she heard her name being called. It sounded like a women's voice. It was a soft, sweet sounding voice but nothing about this situation seemed soft or sweet. As Kaitlin turned around swiftly, she saw a figure sitting on a swing in the distance. Kaitlin walked a bit closer. Then she paused.... It was a girl. The girl had long blonde hair and was wearing a white dress with buttons all down the back. Kaitlin couldn't see much else because the girls back was turned.
"Kaitlin" whispered the voice softly.
"I've come for you my child" she whispered again.
"I have come to bring you back to our homeland."
