Thanks For Being My Unbiological Sister

Chapter Three

His note made me think he's really going to Texas..
Before he leaves I need to get this to him. I ran downstairs and grabbed my coat and slid on my shoes.
I walked to his house and walked up to his door and slid the note under his doormat. I know Kane always looks under there because he never brings the house key. He keeps it under the mat. I walked away quickly hoping nobody saw me. I know Kane wasn't home because his car wasn't there. When I get back to my house his car is there. He's just getting out of his car.
"Hey!" he calls as I make my way near my house.
"Hi." I say while I smile.
He runs up to me, "Listen, I love you so much don't forget it."
"Yeah, I know." I say.
He smiles weakly.
"If you want you can come bowling with us." He says.
"Yeah, Yeah sure that sounds fun." I say.
"After that we're going to a party." He says, "Just a small get together."
I nod and get in his car.
We drove down to the small bowling alley.
We did 12 frames and I was ready to go to that party and eat.
Kane drove us down to a house. Once I got out of the car I could here music. This wasn't some small get together. Kane lied to me. But right now I need food and then i'll deal with him later.
I hurried into the house and found people grinding on each other, this isn't the party I want to be at, but I need food. I'll get food and leave, that's all.
So many people were to busy making out and drinking to help me find the kitchen, so I pushed them out of my way.
I opened the fridge and found wing pizza.
I ate four pieces and grabbed some soda. After I was done I went to go find Kane.
I finally found someone I knew, Tiffany. She was talking to people.
"Tiffany where's Kane?" I ask.
"Upstairs." She says.
I walk upstairs to find Kane kissing another girl. He's probably just drunk, I tell myself. He's probably just under pressure. He loves me too much to hurt me..
"KANE!" I yell.
He doesn't pull away from the girl.
Warm liquid fills my eyes and and then pour out of my eyes. I sprint for the door as they fall tear after tear.
"Avery!" Tiffany yells and tugs on my arm and I pull my arm away and run out the door.
I ran all the way home and just when I got to my porch it started pouring.
I looked at my door and then turned my back on the door and slid down to the ground and started bawling my eyes out. How could someone be so oblivious that his girlfriend was right there!
I stayed in the rain until sunrise and my mother opened the door.
"Was the door not unlocked?" She asks.
"No I just didn't feel like coming in." I say.
"Sweetie, what happened?" She asks.
"I saw Kane kissing another girl." I say.
She looked shocked. She was probably thinking, he's a good guy though I thought he would never do that.
My mother made me go inside and change into dry clothes. After I did that I decided to write a note to Kane.


Kane,
Just go to Texas! I don't ever want to see you again! You betrayed me! I don't care if you were drunk or not! You still kissed her and you know it! I don't want any excuses! No matter how many tears I shed I won't forgive you, at all! I hate you!
