The Journey To the Lost Land

Preparation

I drew my pencil across the paper to form a checklist(1-10) for the items I needed in the Lost Land. I began writing my list.

I think that's good. I then continued reading the printout. There were 5 pages. I just read the opening.

Weather on the island is crazy. Storms are normal and temperatures can drop low or raise high. Most days the weather is hot and sticky because of the rainforest surroundings. Other days can be frigid. Cold weather occurs in months such has January-March and August-December. Hot weather is when good pixies come out and try to defeat the zombies because of the warm weather, zombies become delusional and often do not see clear things. Witches and voodooists go into hibernation at this time. Snakes are everywhere now. Clowns are rare but still come around. Thunder storms are heavy and will keep you under shelter for a full week because soggy ground will sink into the island's cursed underground. When the water dries with the ground, you are safe to leave. Earthquakes occur when you see purple flowers bloom. The flowers are caused by voodooists and witch fights over ingredients. The flowers are created by voodooists. In earthquakes you should stay near coconuts because of the enchanted milk in them, they set up invisible forces to protect you. Pixies created the milk to protect themselves in emergencies. With the coconuts carried with you, you may roam the island as you would like to. The number of coconuts to carry is said to be about 3. And yes, the coconuts are edible. The enchanted coconut milk can be used to cure wounds and is a fast-acting alternative for snake bites. It rains on the island at least once a month and will provide you with clean water for 2 weeks if you collect enough. Water on the island is clean but can be contaminated by snakes during snake season(cold months). During warm months, water is cold and often a light blueish color. THE WATER IS NOT POSINOUS!!!!!!!!!! The blue pigment is given off my pixie dust and actually gives you more strength and energy than regular water. During warm months, gather as much water as possible and store the leftover water in basins hidden near crystals. The crystals keep the water purified and fresh. Crystals can be collected from coves near the salt water. Rain water is just like regular water and is a clear color. In cold months, water is warm, in warm months, water is cold. This works well because chocolate can be found in trees to make hot chocolate. This gift was given by good pixies. Even though pixies are in hiding, they continue giving good to the Lost Land. The secret of the island's weather may never be known but many think that the Zire Fighters left the island in a hurricane. Since they were going to Earth, their powers were left behind and somehow "grew" into the land's natural disasters. Be prepared for anything weather wise on the island if you go. Just know that if you don't make it, don't blame Mother Nature.
