Saying Goodbye

I packed the last items I needed and looked around the loft. There were warm colors mixed into the brick walls, expensive furniture and rugs, and windows that took up an entire wall. I smiled and looked out the window. I looked down to see the busy streets of New York with beeping horns heard from here. A smile spread across my face as I pressed my hands against the glass. I'm going to miss this place. I sighed deeply. My dad would be home soon and all I had to do was set the note where he would find it. I thought about where he always goes. Well, he goes in the kitchen to put away the leftovers from his lunch. Then, he goes into his office to put away the files from court. Next, he goes into his room and usually gets comfy. Ok, why don't I put it in the kitchen. He is always in there making-. I stopped and began to cry softly. I want to leave but I want to stay. Okay I'll stay for 1 more week and then I'll leave. Ok. I stuffed the letter into my bag and picked up my phone to call Nathaneal.

"Hey girl!!!!!!"

"Hey Nathaneal. I have something to tell you."

"Omg!!!! Let me guess.......Lady Gaga showed up to your house and asked you to perform backup at her concert of Little Monsters."

"I wish. I am leaving to go to the Lost Land."

"Whoa diva. Back the truck up and tell me what that is again."

"It's this place with magic and stuff."

"Oooooo sounds fun!!!!"

"Yea. Lackluster."

"Can I COME?!?!?"

"I wish but I have to go alone."

"Awwww. You make me gruppy."

"Lol. Can you come over to have some pizza?"

"Sure. Be there in a few."

I then smoothed out the blanket on the couch and adjusted some pillows. He's a neat freak so whenever he comes over, I have to make our messy apartment look like something from Home&Garden or something.

"Ding Dong!!!!!!!!"

Dang he was fast.

"Hey gurlllllll!!!!!!"

"Hi."

"So what do you wanna do? Watch Toddlers and Tiaras or Cheer Perfection?"

"I just need a frien-"

I broke down in tears and weeped onto his shoulder.

"I'm just so *sniffle* stubborn..........I want to go but I *sniffle* can't leave Daddy here!!!!!"
