Kirito's POV
It was morning and I was feeling happy. Breakfast was easy to make that day. I sat waiting for Yui to come downstairs.
"She must be asleep." I said standing. Then I walked up the stairs to Yui's room. I knocked but she didn't respond.
I opened the door.She was in bed. "Daddy.." She said. "Yui?" I asked turning on the light and walking over.
"I don't feel good daddy.." Yui said. "Oh..yeah that's what happens when your a real person sometimes...I'll get you some medicine after I take your temperature." I said kissing her fore head and walking out.
After that the days passed like the wind. Yui remained sick. I tried to take days off work. But we ended up near a money crisis. "Daddy will be back right after work with candy." I said standing up from Yui's bed.
"Okay daddy..I'm gonna sleep.." Yui said closing her eyes. I smiled and closed the door. After leaving the house, it started to slightly snow.
After work I came outside and the snow had fallen in sheets. The roads were closed. I sighed and started walking home.
Then I got a call from Liz. I answered. "Hello?" I asked. "Hey Kirito, it's Liz." She replied. "Oh hey, what's up?" I asked.
"I was wondering if you and Yui would come to my little brothers birthday party, they played together at the play area so he wants her to come." She said. I thought about it.
" I'm sure Yui would love that but she's been down with a fever this week." I replied.
"Oh, well you should go take care of her, im sorry for interrupting you." Liz said awkwardly.
"It's fine, I'm walking home now because of the snow." I replied. "Oh..well bye get home safe." Liz said.
"Bye Liz." I replied hanging up.
