Chapter 10- SS pt.3

Raven POV

I opened my eyes to find ourselves in a different location.

"Where are we?" Asked Beast Boy.

"... Anabelle's."

He looked above our heads, staring at the Flower shop Sign.
'Annabelle's'

"Okay. Let's go."
Beast Boy started to walk towards the door.

"Wait!"
I said dragging him back pulling us to the side of the building.

"What?!"

"Robins in there! What are you going to do if he sees you?"

"Right.... how am I going to get in without him noticing me?"

"Well you can turn into any animal that has stepped foot on earth. Turn into a fly or something."

"Ehh..I don't have much of a good experience with turning into a fly.
When you get hit with a fly swatter it hurts. Last time it left me with a broken arm remember."

"Well uhm....wait Robins heading to the cash register! Hurry and listen to what he's saying."

"Okay okay!"

"Robin it's nice to see you again." Said the old lady.

"Nice to see you too Sue." Replied Robin.

" I see you've picked a whole bunch of flowers today. Something special coming up? Are you going out with her again today?"

"Yeah I guess you can say that."

" Ooo what's the special occasion?" She asked as she handed the batch of flowers back to him.

" It's our one month anniversary."

"Aww that's sweet. Well have a great day."

"Thanks, you too."

"Did you hear anything?"

"Yeah. Apparently he's celebrating his one month anniversary." Beast Boy said air quoting with his fingers.

"One month anniversary? Oh ok..."
I started to walk away but then Beast Boy pulled me back grabbing my hand.

"Where are you going?"

"Home. Robin's dating someone outside of the team, it really isn't any of our business."

"What makes you say that? What about Starfire?"

"There's no way Starfire could keep that big of a secret for that long. A month? Really? And I thought you had your heart set on the conclusion that Robin was gay?"

"I'm still not giving up on that theory."

"Okay well steak out is over. I'm going to finish my book." I tried to walk away again but he pulled me back, but closer.

"Why are you trying so hard to get away from me? Is the book that good? He asked smiling.

"Yes it is." I answered sarcastically.

He started to stare at me. Top of my head to be exact.

"Why are you staring at me?"

"No it's just.....when did I get taller than you?"

"What?"

"Yeah," He used his hands to compare the difference. "I'm like 5 inches taller than you now."

"Ugh no....now you're going to start teasing me about it."

"Yes. Yes I am. I mean last time I remember I was the short one." He smiles at me.

"So annoying" I roll my eyes at him.

"Guess I had a growth spurt?"

I finish with a sarcastic laugh.
I open a portal teleporting us back into my room.

"Doesn't look like you won this steak out competition."

"Nope it doesn't. The universe just loves to prove me wrong."

"Yeah. Sucks for you."

"So....when do you think your gonna finish that book?"

"Probably within an hour."

"Okay so I should expect you to be ready within the next 3 hours."

"Sorry..?"

"You like taking long walks at night right?"

"Sure."

"Ok well we're going out. So I'll be waiting for you on the rooftop at 8."

"Ok," I said sitting on my bed.
"I'll see you at 8." I smiled a bit.

BEAST BOY

I slowly closed the door.
'Man I can't wait that long. But our first date. That's a start.'
I could feel a smirk stretch across my face.

"Why are you smiling?"

I jumped and turned around to find Cyborg standing behind me.

"Cyborg!? What the heck! You scared the crap out of me!"

"Sorry man. What are you doing at Raven's door?"

"Oh uhm I was just asking her about something."

"Ok. I hope you weren't cheating."
He smiled while nudging my shoulder.

"Cheaters never prosper, man."

"Yeah well it wouldn't matter anyway. I spent the whole day looking for Starfire and still couldn't find her."

"Yeah, I didn't have as much luck. Well see you In the morning." I started to walk down the hall.

"Turning in already? It's only 5:30."

I turned back around and began to walk backwards.

"Yeah man, guess I steaked out too hard."

"Well see you in the morning."

I waved at him as I continued to walk to my room.
