Chapter 13 - Congratulations

Like 10 hours later....

Raven's eyes slowly opened as she woke up from her deep sleep. She hugged her pillow and buried her into it.

"I'm so tired." Raven whispered to herself.

She finally sat up trying to motivate herself to get out of the bed.

"Good Morning! And congratulations!"

"Oh my god!!" Raven jumped back, frightened. "What the hell Starfire!?"

"I'm sorry.....did I frighten you. I just wanted to be the first one to greet you this morning....err well afternoon." Starfire said innocently.

"It's after noon already?" Raven rubbed her eye.

"We did go to bed late."

"Right. How long have you been in here?"

"About an hour."

"You watched me sleep for an hour?"

"Well no...not necessarily. I did try to read one of the books you read all the time but it was so sad and dark..."

"Okay, was there something....you wanted to talk about?"

"Yes! There is! It's about Robin and Beast Boy-"

"Nope! Stop right there!"

"What!? Why?"

"We are not talking about relationships this morning-"

"Afternoon."

"Whatever."

"But we never talk! So I thought that since we're both dating one of our teammates we could-"

"There isn't much to talk about. It's only been a few weeks."

"Oh...well could I at least tell you about Robin and I?"

"No-"

Starfire's eyes got big as she started to beg.

".....fine." Raven sighed.

In the kitchen

Beast boy grabbed his toast out of the toaster and his orange juice and sat down at the table. Seconds later Cyborg sat down across from him.

"Hey Beasty!" Cyborg greeted cheerfully.

"Morning Cy."

"You mean afternoon?"

"No.....morning."

"It's literally after twelve."

"Well it's still morning for me."

"The both of you sure did sleep in late."

"Who?"

"Didn't you just wake up?" Cyborg asked.
