Is it me or is wattpad not showing the ranks of some books? Like when I look at my book it isn't ranked anymore, so I thought it got taken off the charts. But when I look at Anna's books or something, hers isn't ranked either?
What the hell wattpad?
Oh well, enjoy this chapter.
I love you all!

“The demons.”
“What demons?” I questioned the mysterious little girl as she made her chubby little feet onto the couch. I was able to scold her for standing on my leather couch until she folded her legs neatly as she sat criss cross. “What happened, why are you here love? What even is your name?”
The chubby little girl, who I presumed was around the ages eight or ten, put her hair behind her small creamy colored ear as she took a deep breath. “A-After you left, th-they came. They took my mommy and set her on fire while I was watching.” She paused to let a quiet sob escape from her lips, “Th-They to-told me if I didn’t … If I didn’t come o-out the house th-they would burn me alive too, th-they also t-t-t-t-old me th-that I h-h-had tw-two hours to grab a-all my things and run out b-before they set the house on fire la-later on.”
Apart from her constant stuttering, gasps and sobs the information she told me did not add up at all. Why would they hurt her mother? The Vipers, er, any gang doesn’t come out of nowhere and burns a mother in front of their daughter for no apparent reason, it’s almost was stupid. No correction, it WAS stupid.
“I-I-I still don’t know your name..” I muttered as she tensed up a bit.
“Cheyenne.” She smiled; her creamy dark skin reminded me of chocolate milk as he soft smooth black hair was up to her shoulders. She moved closer to me as my eyebrow rose even more higher. This girl seemed bipolar, seconds ago she was sobbing and now she’s smiling. “C-Can I stay with you? Please?”
I breathed in a sharp breath as I hesitantly scratched my neck and made my hand travel up to the edge of my hairline where I played with the tips of my hair, “Um.. I’m only nineteen I..”
“I can take care of myself, I’m 12.” Cheyenne interrupted, thinking she was old enough to be left alone at the house. But with the information she just told me, I can’t trust this, her, this whole thing.
“Fine. You’re sleeping in the room upstairs your first right. My room is down the hall from yours okay? I will be gone sometimes for my running and competition. Don’t open the door when I’m gone, don’t go near the stove, don’t take showers until I’m home and most importantly DON’T answer the phone. Understood?”
She nodded her head as he hair flung with it, “Under-freaking-stood!” She cheered as I made a face at her choice of words.
Just as I was about to speak my ringtone, which was the theme song of Big Bang Theory, interrupted my further suspicions as I answered the phone without seeing who it was.
“Hello?”
“Ba- Taylor.. it’s Harry.”

It’s been two days, two days since I let her leave, two days since I’ve let her slip from my possession and into her own. The same night she left was the same night I found a middle-aged woman at the pub, she was much older than me but she seemed to fit the job as assistant, and maid. I didn’t necessarily want her for sexual relations since that would be disgusting and poor of me and since Taylor has erupted into my thoughts every time I thought about sex.
