Chapter 33: Naruto's Sorrow

3rd POV

After the fight between Lord Hokage, Yukine, and Orochimaru, Orochimaru retreated with his henchmens out of the Leaf Village. Leaving Lord Hokage and Yukine on the rooftop. Lord Hokage died after he sealed Orochimaru's arms with the Reaper Death Seal.

As for Yukine, he was unconscious. His heart rate was slowly dropping down and losing blood. All of the Joūnin rush to them as they saw them.

Kakashi, Raiden, and Takashi was in complete shock when I found Yukine laying there next to Lord Hokage. Tadashi ran up to him, crying in agony as he was shaking him to wake.

Kakashi and Raiden tried to pull him off but Takashi push them off of him. They thought it'll be worse if they tried do it again. Instead, they went next to him and put their arms around Takashi as he sobbed more than ever.

Kakashi wanted to check his heart rate and he felt a pulse. He told Raiden and Takashi to bring him to the hospital immediately. They grabbed them as they teleported to the hospital.

Takashi

"We need help! Somebody help us, please!" Raiden called out as bunch of nurses and doctors ran to them.

"Put him on the emergency bed!" The doctor said as we put Yukine on it. "We need to take him to the ICU stat!"

"Yes doctor!" The nurses nodded as we push Yukine to the operation room.

"Tell me what happened to him." The doctor asked while moving.

"His heart rate is slowly down and has deep wound in his body." I said.

"Okay, I need you two to stay here. We got it from here." The doctor blocked our way as they brought Yukine in the room.

"Please god....Don't let Yukine die." I said quietly as tears was falling down my face.

"He's going to be okay, Tadashi." Raiden said. "I'm sure they'll do everything they can to save him."

"We should've....WE SHOULD'VE WENT WITH HIM!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs as I slammed my fist on the wall. "DAMMIT!!"

Raiden grabbed my fist as we slid down to the floor and I couldn't stopped crying.

".....Dammit, Yukine.....You idiot." I sobbed as Raiden gave me a hug. "Why?....Just why?"

Naruto

I was relieved that I was able to stopped Gaara. Me and him are just alike. Both have beast inside us, everyone looking us as a monster, all alone.

I feel his pain, to feel what being alone is like. I'm sure that he's going to change when we see each other again.

I was walking back to the village with my team, Akaashi and Kitsune. Luckily, we've found them. Both of them were on the branches. The building was destroyed by the sand and the sound village. Then, I felt something wasn't right. It's like...someone is dying.

I don't know why....it's weird. I tried to find Big Bro but I couldn't find him. He's not around. I check the arena and no one was there. That's when I saw bunch of Joūnins on top of a rooftop, including Kakashi-Sensei.

We jumped on the rooftop and walked up to them. When we got closer to them, I saw a person on the ground. I was in complete shock, it was Lord Hokage.
