Austin P.O.V:
Why did I do that? I'm such an idiot! I rolled over and leaned down to my clock. 3am! I had been lying on my back for hours waiting for my mind to let go of every thing that happened today and fall asleep. It never happened. I sighed and through the duvet off me. I crept out the door and past my baby twin brothers room to the bathroom. I shut and locked the door an flicked on the light.
I walked up to the mirror and looked at myself.
What had I done? Was I a bad person? Would Lucy ever forgive me?
I know what I would have done if I was in her situation. Not forgiven her.
I didn't even know why I did it. I just lost control. That girl is just irresistible to me.
I put my head in my hands and sighed. I really needed to stop thinking about her. I could get better, right? Right?
I could see it in her eyes as she shouted at me. She was really annoyed. She was really angry. She was really hurt.
"I can't believe I did that!" I moaned out loud to myself.
I glared up at the mirror and saw a big spot on the tip of my nose. A stress spot!
"Ugggh!" I growled at my reflection. But I immediately felt bad. It wasn't Lucy's fault. It was mine.
I groaned and sloped back off to my bedroom. I stopped outside my brothers room and peeped in. Harry and Aaron were snoring softly in their cots, without a care in the world. Lucky!
I slumped under the covers and begged for sleep to reach me. Finally it did. God knows what time, but at least I got some sleep.
"AUSTIN!!!!" My foster father shouted, waking me so that I fell out of bed.
"AUSTIN!!!!" My foster mother shrieked.
"WHAT?!?!" I yelled down the stairs.
"AUSTIN PARKER GET DOWN HERE BEFORE YOU'RE LATE FOR SCHOOL!!" She screamed back up.
I spun round and stared at the clock. 8:15am! I had minutes to get to school!
I ran down the stairs and pulled my school trousers and shirt on. I did my tie, grabbed my bag and ran out the door.
"Austin!" My mother tutted, standing in the doorway.
I stopped in my tracks. "What?" I asked, panting.
She held up my shoes. I ran back to the door and took my shoes from her, slipped them on and started running down the street to school. I bolted it through the gates and looked up at the big clock. 8:30, just made it! I smiled and pulled out my timetable. My first lesson was maths. With Lucy. I would have to apologise, wouldn't I...?
I waited outside the maths classroom. In front of me was a short girl with honey blonde hair. Lucy.
I tapped her on the shoulder "Lucy..." I said shyly. Me, shy? What was with this girl that made me turn to jelly whenever she was mad at me? She turned round slowly, obviously recognising my voice.
"Hello Austin" She replied sourly.
"Look, I'm really sorry..." I nervously said.
"I told you I don't want excu..." She tried to remind me. Before she finished her sentence I covered her mouth with my hand.
