The breakup

It was over and you were totally heartbroken. You dumped your longtime boyfriend, for 2 years, Josh because you caught him sleeping with another girl. You literally caught him in the act. You came home from a get together with your friends and walked into the bedroom finding him... Well you know;)... You hurried and packed up all your stuff then left him before he could even protest.

You decided to get an apartment beings you won't be living with Josh anymore. You got settled in and stayed there. You decided it was best for you to just to unwind and get your act together. You plopped on your bed as your phone was blowing up with messages coming from Josh saying 'Come on babe it was an accident' 'I don't have feelings for her like I do you! She came onto me' 'Come back home I really miss you babe' 'I love you' You couldn't help but sob into your pillow and slowly falling asleep afterwards thinking...

Why me?

A couple days passed and you were on your bed cuddling up in the warmth of the blankets and eating some Ice Cream while watching 'My Girl'. You then heard your phone go off. You groaned in annoyance and grabbed your phone off the table beside the bed. You had tons of notifications from Josh but only one stuck out to you. A message from your best friend Mark. Curiosity got the best of you and you tapped on the message and read it...

Mark: Hey Y/n I heard about you and Josh and I wanna say I'm so sorry I know how much he meant to you. He's a total asshole for doing that to you. You don't deserve it and you deserve better than that. I just want to let you know i'll always be here for you Y/n❤

You smiled at message and seen it was sent last night. You then decided to text him back.

Y/n: Thank you Mark it really means a lot to me that you care💜

You then get a text from him asking if he could come over and see you. You grin and text him back of course. You then try to clean the place up before he gets here.

*Knock! knock!*
"Y/n you in there?" "Yeah hold on" You hurry and run to the bathroom and fix your hair. You throw on an oversized sweater and leggings. You then jog over to the door and open it to see Mark. "Hey! Mark" You give him a huge bear hug and motion him to come in. He comes in and stick his hands in his pockets. You plop down on the couch and motion him to come sit down next to you.

"Come on you doof! I don't bite" You smirk. He chuckles and sits beside you. You cuddle back into your purple fluffy blanket and turn your attention back to 'My Girl'.

"So how are you feeling and all?" He asks you. You sigh "I feel like shit" You chuckle trying to brighten the mood up a little. "but most of all I feel like a fool, a total idiot.." You cuddle more into your blanket and try to cover your face. Tears fill your eyes as you begin to think of Josh. You feel Marks hand start to rub your back and soon his hand falls you your side, sliding you across the couch toward him. You can't help it as you rest your head on his chest and start to cry. "Shh Shh Y/n its all going to be ok..." he whispers in your ear. You only sob harder.

After a couple minuets of crying You finally stop and get off of Mark. "Excuse me for one second" You hop off the couch and sprint to the bathroom. Your hairs a mess and your face and eyes ate beat red from crying so hard. You whipe your face off and fix your hair then go back over to Mark standing behind the couch. "Haha I'm sorry I had to make myself at least presentable" You chuckle standing beside him. "Its fine Y/n you didn't have to do that you look beautiful just the way your are" You blush looking down at your feet "I'm not that pretty" You mumble. "What was that Y/n?" Mark questioned. You looked him right in the eyes "I said I'm not that pretty.. You could even ask Josh.. that's why he fucked someone else.." You turn away from him and walk toward the kitchen going for the fridge.

"Y/n" You hear him let out a sigh and get off the couch. You scramble through the fridge to find nothing so you get in the freezer looking for your favorite ice cream. You soon feel strong arms wrap there way around your waist. "Hey Y/n...I'm so sorry I didn't mean you make mad and trust me you are beautiful" You couldn't help but to blush beat red. "M-Mark!?" You stutter trying to push his arms away from You. He just tightens his grip on your waist. "Hey.. Can I ask you a quick question?" You nod and he flips you around that way your face to face with his hands on your lower back. "Why are you self conscious about yourself? Your absolutely beautiful inside and out you know.." He smirks down at you. You blush and push him away from you. "S-Stop it Mark" You giggle. "NEVERR!!" He yells running at you picking you up by your waist and puts you over his shoulder. "Put me down!!!" You kick and scream giggling. "No! Not till you agree that your beautiful!" "NEVERR!!" You mock him.

He brings you to your bedroom and throws you gently onto the bed. "Last chance Y/n" he smirks. "No" You giggle. Before you could do anything else he pounces on top of you and starts tickling your sides. You wail out in sheer shock and delight. You thrash your arms and legs around trying to pry him off of you. "Ahhh! M-Mark!! S-Stop!!" You reply breathless."Not till you say your beautiful" he tickles you harder and your sweater slides up your stomach a little. "I-I'M BEAUTIFUL!! AHH I'M BEAUTIFUL!!" He finally stops tickling you and you huff in defeat. You soon feel his hands on your bare stomach where your sweater rose up. You look down at his hands and back up at him. You see his face start to inch toward yours and he kisses you passionately. Your lips fight for dominance as he kisses you harder. You soin feel his tongue graze against your bottom lip begging for entrance but you wanted to have your fun and not let him. You soon feel one of his hands start to roam upwards toward your breast. You soon feel uncomfortable and push it away. You part your lips from his and put your forehead against his. "I'm not ready for that Mark" you whisper.
