As I ran through the woods I herd them, they were everywhere. Leaping through the trees, slithering through the underbrush, and just maneuvering through the woods. Sword in my hand I ran as fast as possible, and although flying would be faster, it would be like a beacon of light in the depths of the abyss, and that beacon would be me.
Naturally, I didn't want that kind of attention.
So I ran. I ran until my legs hurt, then ran more. I could see the Forrest begin to break, the sun shining pain the plains ahead. But I stopped, I had never left the woods before and had no clue what would wait beyond. I looked around a bit and saw a camp site, just at the edge of the woods, I had to warn them, I can't leave them to die at the hands of these monstrous beasts. I started to head over, and looked at the neatly built site, six small three small tents and one large one. There was a wagon with supplies in crates, probably a group of merchants. Two people walked out of a tent talking, then stopped and stared at me, I could tell they were no merchants.
They were imperial men. I recognized the first one, he was the man I scared off not all that long ago, the second one was new to me, but obviously in charge of the first.
Imperial or not, I can't just let them die.
I think to myself then run towards them. Hopefully this is worth it.(:::)
