It's been a week already since I helped Damien with the accomodations and right now, I am facilitating the decorations for the Grand Hall where most of their convention would be held. It's a one week convention, so I have to come up with something welcoming but at the same time east to fix and redecorate as to not make it boring.
I felt an arm encircle around my left side and a kiss on my right temple.
"Hey, how are things going?" He asked softly.
"Everything's great! The decoration seems appropriate for the visitors and the other materials for the next few days are complete," I smiled as I turned my head to look at him, but then I frowned a little.
"D, you look tired, you should go rest," I said, placing my right hand on his cheek and caressing the bags under his eyes with my thumb. I know that he sneaks inside the room that was prepared for me and lays down beside me late at night when I know he can't sleep but then, leaves early to go back to work.
"I'm fine, especially when my worries lessened, thank you for your help," he whispered as he engulfed in a hug from behind me and rested his chin on my shoulder. I giggled and turned ny head to kiss his temple as well.
I continued checking the decorations, scanning the room with my eyes to see everything is almost done. However, I felt Damien's head falling sidewards and his breathing is even, so I turned to face him and find him asleep. He fell asleep on my shoulder! I giggled.
"Michelle, can you please check the last bits of the decoration to see if it's complete? I'll take your Alpha to his room," I smiled at her as she took the clipboard I was holding and nodded her head as she returned my smile and looked at her Alpha. Well, I call D their Alpha, but I don't call or really think he's my Alpha even if I am a part of this pack. I dunno why...
I slightly tapped Damien's cheek, stirring him awake. I placed my arms around him and curled my finger on his belt loops to support him as he walked groggily, staggering a bit as he loses his consciousness from time to time. He must be really tired.
Unfortunately, his heavy body cannot be easily carried by me and thankfully, a pack member offered help and we ascended up the stairs, towards Damien's room.
Damien fell on his bed with a flop, making me chuckle.
"Thank you," I smiled to the boy, well I can't really say boy since his about my age, and he blushed. Hm, I wonder why.
I shrugged it off and turned to Damien. He's in a really deep sleep. I sighed and sat next to him.
I pulled his shirt over his head and left him shirtless to make him more comfortable. He let out a sigh and I placed the duvet on him, covering his body and sat on the floor at the side of the bed and stared at him.
There are a lot of things I don't know about, D, I thought to myself.
I want to know what I am, who I am...where I came from...?
I sighed, placing my head on my arms, not realizing I am dozing off. This always happens to me, I seem to be easily exhausted and...always doze off...😴
I stirred awake when I felt a shuffling beneath me. I slowly opened my right eye, seeing a bright light and quickly closed them. My left cheek is placed on a surface that seems, to me, is heaving up and down steadily. So, I lifted my head and turned to the other side and plopped it down the surface again, I opened my left eye and saw a door.
I slightly flinched when I felt the surface beneath me shake. I lifted and turned my head forward, placing my hands on the surface to support me and the first thing I saw is a chin. I curiously tilted my head to the side and allowed my eyes to trail up higher and saw Damien's face. I sleepily smiled at him as I slowly sat up and that's when I realized, I was sleeping on top of him. As I sat, straddling his hips, and my hands on his bare chest, which was the surface that was moving up and down.
"Sorry for waking you," he smiled at me, moving his hand up and down my left side, comforting me as my grogginess is slowly disappearing.
"Hmm, how did I end up here?" I asked, laying down again on his body and placing a playful kiss on the left side of his chest, where his heart is.
"Well, I woke up not too long ago and saw you on the edge of the bed, so I pulled you up, I was surprised you didn't wake up but earlier when I laughed you stirred awake," his eyes crinkled as he let out a chuckle, the vibrations from his chest soothed me and I let out a sigh.
"Tired?" He asked. I hummed and turned to look at him.
"Seems like it? I easily get tired," I told him with a pout as I placed my chin atop my hands that rested on his chest.
"Yeah, ever since you came here you kept complaining about that," he mentioned about the time where I had been in the pack house for a week, and I always ended up sleeping right after lunch and dinner, then wake up the next day and the cycle begins again.
"Let's get back downstairs, I'm sure they're looking for us," he chuckled, wrapping his arms around me as he sat up, making me straddle him. He, then, grabbed his shirt from the side and put it on.
"Let's go?" He asked and I nodded as I smiled at him. He stood up, carrying me then I wrapped my legs on his hips as he strided down the stairs.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and nuzzled my face on his neck, sniffing his scent and purring with content.
My eyes started to get droopy as I am enveloped by Damien's scent, lulling me back to sleep.
"Oomph!" I felt Damien stagger, he fixed his hold on me so that I wouldn't fall. I turned back, looking at what is in front of Damien, to see a she-wolf, she was secretly glaring at me first, but her eyes shifted to her Alpha and she smiled sweetly.
"Hello, Alpha," she greeted, batting her eyelashes and completely disregarding me.
Damien just nodded at her curtly and continued on walking down the stairs. I looked back at the she-wolf from Damien's shoulder, she glared at me and muttered something under her breath.
Bitch
Even if it is a audible to werewolves, it is still unclear, but the fact is, I heard her. Clearly.
I looked away and laid my head on Damien's shoulder. I know what she muttered wasn't a good word, even if I can't understand.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Damien placed his warm hand on my back and moved it up and down, prying me to speak.
"Nothing..." I mumbled on his shoulder and nuzzled his neck. Ugh. My head is aching.
I heard distant voices, it seems as if I can't focus on my surroundings. I felt Damien settle himself on a chair, nudging me awake, but my body isn't responding. It's like my consciousness is seperating from my body. My eyes are drooping close, my vision turning black and then, darkness.
