Everyone present in the room was shocked when they heard a thud.

Damien looked down on his left side, his eyes wide open as he saw Vann's body limp beside him.

He quickly sat down beside the limp body and scooped Vann's body up.

"Vann? Vann?!" He called as he ran through the house and went on a seperate shed from the pack house to go to the doctor.

"Sally! Sally!" He yelled around the shed as he placed Vann's limp body on a hospital bed. "Sally!" He roared out, getting pissed as each seconds passed.

"Okay, okay, I'll be right there, Alpha," she grumbled as she walked out from a small compartment room with disheveled hair and a male werewolf coming out after her.

But soon after she grumbled while fixing her clothes, she looked up to see her Alpha in a not-so-friendly mood and glared at her with rage. Sally immediately got the idea that now is not the time for jokes and quickly straightened up and swiftly but calmly walked towards the enraged Alpha.

"What is the matter, Alpha?" She asked in a firm voice.

"Please know what happened to him and why he suddenly collapsed," the Alpha curtly asked as he turned to reveal an unconscious male laying on the bed.

Sally's eyes widened at first when she saw the silver-haired male, but then got over it and took her light stick from her lab coat's chest pocket and went to examine Vann.

"His irises are responding, his vitals are normal and so is his temperature," Sally muttered after checking the boy and putting her stethoscope aside.

"It seems like he collapsed because of exhaustion and stress," she said as her Alpha awaited her conclusion and final say to what she stated earlier.

"How can he be exhausted? For the past week, he has been on a cycle where he wakes up, eats breakfast, do what he has to do then after lunch goes back to sleep and then wakes up the next morning?" Damien asked confused, looking at Vann.

Sally's face contorted in confusion. She is sure that what she diagnosed is correct, what else would be the cause?

"Have you noticed anything other than that? Are there any changes on him? Anything?" She asked. She is not sure and she doesn't want to say it, but maybe what she thinks is the answer.

"Nothing much. I think that is all," Damien furrowed his eyebrows to think of anything he noticed different on Vann.

"Maybe..." Sally trailed off, not wanting to say her opinion.

"What?" The Alpha snapped. Irritation seeping through him, he wants to know what is happening to the person who is one of the most important people in his life.

"I think...he will soon meet his mate, his body is preparing for his upcoming heat that will occur a month after meeting his mate..." Sally wasn't sure with her thoughts, she has only seen this happen to female wolves or to male omegas mated to dominant male wolves.

"What?!" Damien couldn't understand what he feels. If he's happy because soon enough he will know that he and Vann are mates, or anxious to know that he's not Vann's mate.

"Yeah, it's similar to those of female wolves and then after going through what is happening to him, he will soon meet his mate, but..." Sally trailed off. Unsure whether to tell the Alpha of her curious thought.

"But what, Sally?" Damien asked, staring at Vann.

"But, he's not an Omega, I can't smell the scent on him, he's not an Alpha either, or anything at that...he seems foreign," Sally said, making the Alpha turn to her with wide eyes, signalling her to stop.
