Hey everyone, here's chapter three! I hope you enjoy it, and I'd also like to give a big shoutout to my friend CarbonRosePetals for helping me overcome the writers block I had at the beginning of writing this chapter! :3

---Riei's POV---
Kakashi walks on into the hospital room and sits down on the edge of the bed, giving her his normal closed eyes smile "How are you feeling?"
"I'm okay"
"Okay Riei, I was told that as soon as you woke up I was to tell the Hokage so that he could have you questioned, but I think I'll find out what you'll tell me first."
"I'd rather not talk about it, I'll tell you that my family was slaughtered and I'm the only survivor, I don't know what happened I just remember waking up, bloodied and bruised and stumbling out of my village and into the woods.. After that I was left to live on my own, when you found me I had just been beaten by some men in black robes with red clouds on them for trying to steal food from them." Riei hangs her head, dark hair shielding her tear filled eyes.
Kakashi lays a comforting hand on my shoulder "it'll be okay now Riei, you're in a good place and I'm sure the village will accept you."
The door opens and a wise looking old man walks in "That we will Kakashi. I am the Hokage of the Leaf, and young one you shall be accepted into our village on the condition that you are willing to live with one of our ninja and will become a member of one of the new genin teams"
I look up at the man and nod "Yeah sure I'll become a ninja for this village" in truth I was well beyond the level of a normal genin but I know I'll have to start as a genin.
The Hokage smiles at me "Good then as soon as you are released from the hospital you shall take up residence with Kakashi."
I looked at the silver haired man, who gave me a closed eyes smile, at least I assumed it was a smile, it's hard to tell with his headband covering one eye and the mask over the bottom half of his face.
The Hokage nods "I'll be going now, Kakashi I leave this girl in your hands."
Kakashi nods "Yes lord Hokage"
I look to the old man as he leaves. Thinking to myself "Wow the Village Hidden in the Leaves, not sure how I feel about this.." Kakashi also leaves telling my he'll be back tomorrow
-----The Next Day----
Kakashi walks into my room and smiles, I think "Well let's see about getting you out of here"
He helps me to my and we walk out the door and down the hallway to the stairs, we go down two flights before reaching the front desk and I go up to it.
"I'm the girl that Kakashi brought in yesterday, I'd like to check myself out"
The clerk looks up at me stunned "Um I'm not to re.. Release.."
She stutters as I send her a cold stare and she pulls out a file and asks me to put me full name on it and sign. As soon as that's done my eyes lose their cold stare and I toss the file down in front of her "Here" I walk back to Kakashi "Let's go!"
Kakashi sweatdrops and mumbles something incoherently which I ignore as I walk towards the door, I'm just ready to be out of this hospital, I hate hospitals.
---Kakashi's POV---
I could already tell this girl was going to be a handful, she had only been awake an hour and she had already intimidated a clerk at the hospital and talked me into buying her new clothes. I watch as she runs along a few feet ahead of me, before she abruptly stops and turns back to me, her purple eyes sparkling.
"Kakashi.. I'm hungry..." She smiles innocently
I sigh, this girl really was going to be a handful. "Okay, how about I take you out for ramen?"
"Yay!! Ramen!"
I can't help but smile as she takes off running, me following closely behind, as we walk I hear a yell from a shop "NARUTO THIS IS NOT A LIBRARY!" I look over to the shop, an adult magazine store, as the blond and a young dark haired boy are chased from the store and think "Oh the poor sensei that ends up with that boy"
I continue walking, trying to find Riei, as I had lost her in the commotion with Naruto. I sigh
---Riei's POV---
I look back behind me to see that Kakashi is gone. I look around but can't seem to find him so I just stand there for a second then a blond boy who looks around my age and a younger dark haired boy run by.
I run after the two, deciding I have nothing better to do, I find the boys in a small clearing in the woods, and I jump into a tree, an older ninja with black glasses stands before them the youngest boy tells the ninja to check out his new jutsu as he transforms into a naked girl.
I sweatdrop as the older man rambles about being to surperior in mind to succumb to such childish antics. The blond then says something I don't quite catch and then creates a lot of clones of himself and each transform into the same naked girl. The older ninja has blood explode from his nose and he falls backwards, unconscious and the two boys run off.
"So much for being immune to such things" I think, looking at the man before I leap down from the tree and run back in the direction of the village.
I wander the village until I find Kakashi standing in front if a building labeled "Yakiniku-Q" holding a bag he sees me and smiles, yes I've decided it really is a smile and he says "since I didn't know where you went I just ordered you some Yakiniku to go" I grow wide eyed and rush for the bag, suddenly remembering my hunger.
Kakashi sweatdrops, holding the bag out, I snatch it off his finger and tear into it ravenously.
---Kakashi's POV---
The girl finishes her food and then abruptly falls asleep. I sigh and scoop her up into my arms and leap onto the roof tops and run towards my apartment. This girl needed her rest tomorrow she would begin her life as a genin with me as her sensei and I would meet the rest of my team. Maybe this time theses genin would understand the point of my test.
I reach my apartment and open the door, I walk in and lay the girl on my couch as I go to prepare the guest bedroom. Once the bedroom is prepared I pick up the girl and slide her into her new bed.
Once I have her all settled in I go to the kitchen to find some food, as she had unknowingly eaten my food as well as hers, but surprisingly I was okay with it. Maybe this is what being a parent feels like, I am responsible for this girl in a way a parent might be..
