---Riei's POV---
I wake up to the feeling of someone prodding my side and saying name. I jump out of bed to find Kakashi standing there, a blush on the visible part of his face, as I realize that I am wearing only my form fitting, extremely long, undershirt.
"Kakashi! You perv!" I yell as I smack him over the head "get out of my room!"
Kakashi sweatdrops at the sight of the infuriated me and quickly exits the room, closing the door behind him as he goes.
I stare at the door as he exits and then turn to the closet to pull out the bags of clothes that I got yesterday and pull off my undershirt and put on a long sleeve fish net, and then pull on a purple shirt with one long sleeve and the other side with no sleeve. Then I dig through the pants and pull out a pair of black shorts that I step into. I then clip on my weapons pouch, before opening my door.
I walk out and yell "Hey perv! Where are you? I'm leaving to go to the academy so I can be assigned my team!" I walk to the front door and open it up, walking out, ready to find my way to the academy.
I walk through through the streets and find the academy, I then find the sensei I was told to find. I talk to him, show him my clone justsu and then he tells me he will go see the Hokage to decide my team and tells me what classroom to go to. I find the classroom just in time to walk in and see the blonde kid ,from yesterday kiss some dark haired guy with a duckbutt for hair. He looks a lot like Itachi, that must be his little brother. I'm assuming the kiss was an accident, as he's about to get beat up by a bunch of girls. One screams "Naruto!" So his name is Naruto. Wait that girl has pink hair! I'll call her pinky! And isn't Naruto the name if the boy with the Kyubbi? At just that moment Iruka pops in to assign teams.
He drawls on about how they're ninja now but just beginners blah blah blah. Then he finally gets to assigning the teams "okay team 10 will be Ino Yamanaka" I see a blonde girl shift and stare at the duckbutt emo. "Shikamaru Nara" A boy with black hair in a ponytail on top of his head mumbles "what a drag" I like that guys attitude "and Choji Akimichi." A rather large boy standing by Shikamaru looks at him before shoving a chip in his mouth.
The sensei continues "Team 8 will be Kiba Inuzuka" a guy with a small white dog on his head throws his fist up "Hinata Hyuga" a girl with long black hair blushes and looks away from everyone but then looks back to stare at Naruto. "And Shino Aburame" a boy with a long necked coat and sunglasses shifts slightly. He's creepy.
"And team 7 Naruto Uzumaki" the blonde jumps into the air, fist up "Sauske Uchiha" the duckbutt nods "Sakura Haruno" pinky looks dreamily at duckbutt as Naruto yells "No way! Why do I have to be on a team with him?!" The sensei looks at Naruto "The teams were separated for efficiency, so the highest scores were put with the lowest, Sauske's was the second highest, yours was the lowest!"
Naruto hangs his head then looks up "Wait, Iruka sensei, you said Sauske's scores were second!"
"Yes I did Naruto."
"So who's were first" the blond asks and Iruka looks at me "That would be team sevens fourth member" Naruto's head darts around not noticing me in the back of the room, standing in the shadows.
Naruto looks back to Iruka "But sensei there's no one else here to be assigned a team, Believe it!" I smirk and step up silently behind Naruto and tap him on the shoulder, whispering "There's me." The blonde turns completely white and turns to look at me. Everyone else stares at me clearly amazed by my speed. Even Iruka seems surprised.
I smile innocently at them. "Hi, I'm Riei Matsume." They all just continue staring and Iruka clears his throats "This is your teams fourth member Naruto" the blonde nods
Iruka looks around at all of us "Okay now you all can leave and meet back here this afternoon to meet your sensei" I look at my team and say "So Sauske-duck, Pinky, and Naruto I guess we're a team now." Sauske and Sakura glare at me and Naruto busts out laughing "Sauske she called you a.. Because you.. Your hair"
"Well see you later team" I walk off to find something to do until time I meet my new sensei. Where did that Nara kid go? He seems like he'd be fun to mess with.
I wander around the village and finally find the person I'm looking for laying on a rooftop watching the clouds. I walk over and sit down beside him and look up.
---Shikamaru's POV---
I look over at the person that has just sat down beside me, it's that new girl that was put on the team with Naruto. What a drag. I came up here to be alone. Maybe if I ignore her she'll go away. Of my luck didn't go that way because right at that moment she looks over at me and speaks "So you do this a lot?"
I sigh. Looks like I'm not gonna get to be alone. "Yeah I enjoy watching the clouds." She looks over at me a thoughtful look on her face before standing up and saying "You're weird Shika!" And then taking off. What the hell?
Women... What a drag.
I continue staring at the clouds until Choji and Ino walk up. Well time to go meet our new sensei I stand and walk to my two teammates.
---Riei's POV---
I know I had just left that Nara kid dumbfounded. I run along the rooftops at a leisurely pace until I hear a familiar voice.
I drip onto the ground, landing in front of Naruto who jumps back in surprise. "Hey Naruto!" I smile my widest smile and the blonde and he looks back at me. I like this guy to.. He's got one of those personalities that just makes everyone want to be his friend. Wait did I just think that? That was weird
The blonde smiles "Hey Riei. What's up? It's about time for us to go meet our sensei, believe it!" I nod at the eager boy "Yes I know Naruto. We should get back to the academy." Naruto and I walk in silence to the academy and find the room where we are supposed to meet. Duckbutt and Pinky are already there. I go in and sit in the back corner of the room, and spaced out.
I snap back to reality at the sound of pinky' voice. Time has just ticked on by and our sensei still hadn't shown up. It was well past the time he was supposed to be here. Naruto had just placed an eraser on top of the door and Sakura is saying "Naruto our sensei is a Jonin, an elite ninja there is no way they'll fall for something like that" but no sinker has she said this than the door is pushed and I see a familiar mass of gravity defying hair get hit by an eraser.. So Kakashi will be my sensei..
