I found Dominic in the next 2 sections of train carts with Hannah. It looked like they were in a heated conversation but were sitting calmly, so not to draw unwanted attention to themselves.

I walked over to them, taking my time. "Hey um Dominic, when you aren't busy, can we talk?"

Dom stopped talking to Hannah to look up at me, his whole facial expression changed and he looked happy to see me. "Actually we can go talk right now."

He pulled me away from Hannah and we made our way back to my train chart. We sat down and I immediately felt nervous to even bring this up. "Dominic....what are we?"

He looked up from his hands, eyes wide. "What?"

"What are we?" I pointed between us. "What is this?"

He ran a hand through his hair and took a deep breath. "Ryler... I don't want to talk about this right now."

I held my hand up. "No. No we are going to talk about this. You can't just kiss me whenever and not tell me what we are or what this is. So we have to talk about it. And now if not ever."

He nodded and ran another hand through his hair. "Fine. What do you want to talk about?"

I stood up and began pacing back and forth, trying to figure out a way to put my jumbled up thoughts into comprehensible sentences.

I sat down covering my face with my hands and frustrated with myself. "I don't know how to even say it Dom... but," I glanced up at him, "what are we going to do once this train stops and we have no other choice but to go our separate ways?"

Dom smiled sadly and pulled me into his arms as I laid my head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. "Is that what your worried about? Us not being together?"

I nodded my head and he pulled me gently away from him and held me by his hands, looking me straight into my eyes. "Ryler... you're the first person I ever told about my ex. Doesn't that sound good enough for me to stick around? For me to not just ditch you? After what we've been through these past 2 days?"

"I understand that Dom...but you're going to be in college in God only knows where and I'm still trying to finish my last year in high school. Then after that, I'm going to Ohio state." I pulled his hands from my shoulders and held them. "I want to be with you Dominic. I really do. You're the first person I've ever been intimately.... close with before especially the fact that I'm a virgin but–"

Dom shook his head, smiling, his dimples popping right out of his cheeks. "You're a virgin?"

I nodded slowly, blushing. His smile only grew more.

"What?" I asked, arching a brow at him.

"Nothing. It's just kind of nice knowing I would've been your first... if we... you know..."

I blushed again, looking down at our hands. "Yeahh...."

"What else do I not know about you?"

"Um...well," I leaned back into him, resting my head in the crook of his shoulder, "my favorite color is blue, my birthday is July 18, 1998, I was born in Vegas–"

He chuckled. "Vegas?"

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, don't ask but my mom and dad says it was unexpected since I had like a month left. Turns out whatever happens in vegas couldn't really stay there.

But anyways, I like going to iHop for breakfast even though I don't eat their breakfast food."

"So what do you eat?" He ran a hand through my hair and it made me soften against him.

"Um, well, I would always order their chicken strips with fries and honey mustard. Their fries are really good. Like no one and I mean no one can compete with that."

"Is it weird that I've never had their fries or strips?"

I almost gaped at him. How could he not? "How's that even possible?"

"I don't know, but maybe in the future.. you could take me to iHop and I'll have their strips and fries with you."

I smiled thinking about that and nodded my head, "That would be great. Now it's your turn, tell me stuff about you."

He chuckled a little, and continued to play with my hair. "Um well my favorite color is also blue, my birthday is November 23, 1995, I was born in Ohio."

I pulled back from him to look him in the eyes. "Really? How come I never knew that?"

He shrugged and I laid back into his arms. "I guess I never really thought of mentioning it.

Anyways, um, I like to go to amusement parks once, every 2 weeks because I'm a major daredevil."

"How major are we talking here? I at least need to know what I'm getting myself into."

He chuckled. "Let's just say, if one of the rides had me jump off a high tower and come back up, bouncing into the air, like bungee jumping, I would do it."

I nodded my head impressed. "Wow, so what else does little Dominic do in his life?"

"He's an annual member at the Gold's gym in his home town. He likes to hang out with his friends on campus, well actually used to like since he's transferring to another school in the fall."

"Wow, and what exactly does he do for fun besides hanging with friends and going to amusement parks?"

"Well he likes going to the movies, playing laser tag, and participating in paintball wars."

I laughed, patting him on the chest. "That sounds so amazing. I've never been to a paintball war or played laser tag before."

He looked down at me as I looked up at him. "Well maybe we could change that."

I nodded and smiled. "Yeah maybe we could...in the future."

We talked and talked for over an hour and it was good. I felt really good talking to him about my life, my friends and family. Then before we knew it, time caught the both of us and we both ended up falling asleep in each other's arms.
