Fire burning every sensation in my heart
Pacific and Atlantic oceans couldn't keep us apart
right from the start
I knew cupid must have hit me with his dart
because you were everything I adored...beautiful, funny and smart
I know it's written Adam and Eve...
but even God wouldn't believe
no one has been able to fit your mold
and nothing compares to the sweetness your lips hold
even if I came upon a box of treasure...
no silver, no platinum nor gold could ever measure
....and with our shady beginning...
came our clear ending...
When we said we'll be together
we did not promise forever...
although we didn't date long
my feelings grew strong, now realizing how many times I did you wrong
now I get so sad...
knowing I can't go back to what I once had....
