I'm sitting on the couch with Raegan cuddled into me. Pretty sure she fell asleep while my hands were running through her hair. She would hold on to me tighter at times and whisper phrases to herself. I got really concerned that she wasn't okay at all and decided I'd take her home.
"Hey guys, I'm gonna take Rae home. She doesn't seem to be feeling too well." I say, putting Raegan's head on the couch so I could use the bathroom before I left.
"Alright. I hope she feels better." I hear Ashton say as I begin my walk to the bathroom.
Before I turn the corner I see that Calum guy look at Raegan and smirk. I frown at the sight and finally get to the bathroom. I walk in and shut the door, locking it to prevent any disruptions. Stepping foot to the toilet, I let up the seat and unbuckle my pants to finish my business. While standing there, I start thinking of why Raegan wouldn't be fond of him. Sure he seems like a fucking creep, smirking at her. But what did he do to her?
I zip up my pants and flush the toilet before washing my hands. I walk out into the living room and walk toward the couch to get Raegan. Immediately, I freeze.
"Where the hell is Raegan?" I say.
"Where the hell is Raegan!?" I yell louder for everyone to hear.
Ashton clears his throat to speak, making me turn around to face him. As I do, I notice Calum is missing to.
"I swear to god Ashton.." I whisper to myself.
"Calum wanted to take her home so they could have a proper greeting or something like that. No biggie." Ashton says, putting a mouthful of chips in his mouth and continuing to play the game.
"Why the in actual fuck, would you do that!? Do you see the way he looks at her?" I say getting furious with him.
"Look, just because you have feelings for Raegan, doesn't mean everyone else is looking at her okay? Why are you jealous of someone looking at someone who isn't, and may I add, never will be, yours?" he says laughing at me.
"As much as I want to agree with what you first said Ash, Luke's right. First, that was actually kind of messed up. Ya'know, what you said about them never happening. It could or it couldn't, but it isn't your place to determine that for them. You know how close they are. They're more close than we are to Luke, ad we've known him longer. Two, Calum did seem kind of weird towards Raegan. Like he knew something. I didn't appreciate it and wanted to ask, but from the look of Rae's face, I'm glad I didn't. She looks like she hates him." Michael says looking at me sympathetically .
Ashton looks at Michael speechless and turns to my with a sad expression.
"I don't like her." I say looking Ashton dead in the eye.
Ashton rolls his eyes and speaks, "I don't understand though, he told me that he could see the two of them being best friends. He said he just had a feeling they connected pretty well." he shrugs.
"No. Raegan and I are best friends." I say shaking my head.
"Yeah, we're all best friends." Ashton laughs again.
