Forgotten Memories (Book Three of 'Forget Me')

Chapter 11: Escape Plan

"We have to get out of here." Beast Boy stated.

"Well, isn't that obvious." Nathan said sarcastically as he moved forward trying to break away the chains. But to no avail.

"Listen, right now is not the time to argue or make witty remarks. We need to get out of here and save Raven. That should be our first priority." Nightwing told the two.

Starfire lifted her head from his shoulder and looked at him, "But how are we supposed to accomplish that?"

"We bust out, obviously." Cyborg said.

"Yeah, but we're chained up right now, so that's kind of impossible." Jason informed him lifting an eyebrow.

"Goddammit! I wanna save Raven!" Beast Boy yelled to no one in particular. He had just found her. She finally remembered him. They could finally be together. Why was fate pulling them apart? Are they not meant to be? They've been through thick and thin together. They've had their equal share of heartbreaks. They've been through pain, been through things that most people would never go through. And yet they were still there for each. Why was everything pulling them apart then?

"Obviously the first thing we have to do is get out of these damn things. After that, we'll have to infiltrate them and-"

"It's useless," As'bel interrupted Nightwing's ideas, "There is no way we'll be able to break free. And that thing they put Raven in, I'm pretty sure it's a memory scrambler. And there isn't a spell to reverse that. Not even the goddess of magic, herself, would be able to get Raven's full memory back if they use that on her."

"Then what do we do?" Jason asked him.

"Wait to get executed."

"Everything is up and running, ma'am." a technician informed Dr. Loretta.

Dr. Loretta nodded and smiled, "Thank you. You may leave now."

As the technician left, Dr. Loretta turned her head to Raven. The chosen bride to their Prince. She truly was beautiful. She could see why Shayde had chosen her. She had the perfect hips for child birthing.

She turned to the computer in front of her, and started to type in different things to ensure that the scrambler wouldn't erase anything vital, like how to breath and such. She also made sure to make Raven fall for Prince Shayde, and him only. She erased all memories that included family, friends. Every happy moment she shared was now only going to be shared with Prince Shayde. Every sad moment, Shayde was the one who comforted her. Beast Boy-Garfield- would be erased. Starfire, eradicated. Nightwing, Cyborg, disappear. Jason and Nathan, nothing but insignificant people soon. Arella, Trigon-

"Trigon!" Dr. Loretta screeched.

No way. This had to be wrong. There is no way that Raven was a spawn of Lord Trigon. 

She instantly contacted the King to inform him of the ground breaking discovery she had just uncovered. She could hear him speaking to the Queen and the Prince.

"It is of no matter. Erase every memory of Trigon from her mind." Drakkar ordered.

"Sir, are you su-"

"Yes, now get to work."

"Right away, your majesty." 

After she heard him disconnect, she went back to work, implanting images, taking away certain memories. 

She erased every trace of the Titans. Every trace of Jason and Nathan. Every trace of Arella. And definitely everything concerning Trigon.

"Tomorrow, Raven," Dr. Loretta said as she held a hand on the glass cylinder surrounding the dark beauty, "Tomorrow, you'll be on out side completely."

"First up, the Tamaranean." a guard said as three others started towards Starfire.

"No! Stop! Starfire!" Nightwing shouted as he tried to move forwards to them.

Starfire followed slowly as she cried tears.

She was going to be the first to be executed. It didn't seem fair.

"Stop! Are you really gonna take the girl out first?" Jason yelled at them.

"She is our biggest concern, so yes. We are taking out the girl first." the guard said smugly.

Starfire was dragged away by the three guards and the others continued to struggle in their restraints. As soon as they turned the corner, the six boys calmed down and smiled to each other. They could heard Starfire's anger being released upon those poor guards. She flew back with a grin on her face and keys in her hand.

She opened the cell and went to Nathan first. She released him and he turned into one of the guards, and left the others as he hid Starfire's victims.

Starfire then released the others and they celebrated shortly for their victory.

"That was easy!" Beast Boy whooped.

"'Course it was. Starfire was the one who was a major help. Ain't that right, boy wonder?" Jason grinned as he slung an arm over Nightwing's shoulders.

"Nathan, you ready?" Nightwing asked as Nathan came back in.

He dusted his hands and nodded, "Sure am."

"I am surprised. I didn't think any of this would work out this perfectly." As'bel admitted.

"Neither did we." Beast Boy said.

"Let's get going," Nightwing said, "We still need to save Raven."

"Right. I'll go and infiltrate. See if I can get a location on her." Nathan said as he trotted off. 

We're coming for you, Rae. Just hang on a bit longer. Beast Boy thought, hoping that Raven would somehow hear him.

Shayde looked at his prize. She was looking beautiful in the cylinder. Nothing but latex covering her body. Her face peaceful. She was absolutely stunning in his eyes. 

He looked at the picture of her with the Titans. She looked happy even though she wasn't smiling. It was a special kind of happy. Her way of being happy. He found it admirable and very unique. He knew about her relations with Trigon, but that didn't change his view on her at all. She was still the captivating woman he was staring at. She was strong, beautiful, caring, and even though she's been through so much, she still carried on. She was absolute perfection in his eyes.

He could hear Dr. Loretta typing away on her keyboard. Implanting false memories in his bride to be. Her memory had yet to be erased and changed. Mostly because the machine was still loading up on power. But tomorrow. Tomorrow would be the day when Raven gives herself to him. She will have forgotten all about the Titans, Nathan, and Jason. She will remember a fake family, so no Arella or Trigon. Shayde will be her only family. She will only desire him. That insolent Beast Boy will not matter to her.

His eyes soften once again as he stared at his future woman. He believed this is what many called 'love at first sight'. This is meant to be. She's his. And he'll give his all to her.

I'm becoming such a softy. Shayde shook his head. He couldn't believe he was thinking of all of this. Is this what people do when they are madly in love with someone?
