Josh: Last time on Total Drama Island, the campers ran, they ate, and they stayed awake in our all new Awake-a-thon. Gwen made friends with Trent. Heather switched teams with Izzy, and turned Eva against her team, due to Eva's tantrum, she got voted off the island, making her, Heather's first victim. Who will be Heather's next victim? Will Gwen and Trent be an official couple? What will be the next challenge? Find out in this sporty episode of Total... Drama... ISLAND!

(Girl's cabin)
Heather: Finally, a good night sleep!
Heather: Now I can focus on eliminating Gwen or LeShawna, because I don't have bunk with either of them!
Gwen: I still can't feel my face!
Izzy: I'm wide awake!
(LeShawna stares at her)
LeShawna: That girl's got so much energy it's scary!
Lindsay: I'm so glad I slept early last time! My eyebags are finally gone!
(Boys cabin)
Owen: (points to Duncan) Don't you think we should wake him up?
Harold: He's gonna kill us if we do.
DJ: He deserves it, he won the challenge last time.
Josh: (sticks head through window) Speaking of challenges, meet me at the beach! Tell the ladies!
Cody: Sure!
Josh: I was talking to Trent, Cody.
(Cody appears sad)
(At the beach, everyone is seen inside a stadium with transparent walls, minus Duncan)
Josh: All right, who's ready for some dodgeball?
Noah: Not me, and what is this? Seventh grade?
Josh: It's your challenge. And get moving, each team send five players out. You have five minutes to decide.
Heather: As team captain, I decide who goes.
Courtney: Who said you're team captain?
Sadie: I think we should let Heather do it.
Katie: I think so too.
Katie: Heather should really keep her promise, it's hard trying to be nice to her.
Sadie: I'm only doing this so I won't get kicked out of the alliance.
(Courtney growls)
Courtney: Fine.
Heather: All right, it will be Courtney, DJ, Bridgette, Geoff and...
Katie: Me!
Katie: I was the star player in dodgeball back in high school. I've got this!
Heather: Are you sure, Katie?
Katie: Yeah. I'm great at dodgeball!
LeShawna: Alright, who volunteers?
Izzy: Ooh, me, me, me!
LeShawna: Fine.
