I woke up with an ice cold shock down my spine. Everyone was looking down, giving me a confused glare.
"Are you ok Merlin? You were screaming and woke us all up." Said Chrom, offering me his hand for the second time today. The thought jumped into my head, I haven't told anyone about how I "reset" everything.
"Chrom, I-" As soon as I began to say the word died, A feeling like a knife being stabbed into my heart began to make me squirm on the ground. It was too much to take, and everything went black.
"Rise, Fell blood."
I opened my eyes and almost puked, Apparently I'm afraid of heights. Good to know. I was what can only be described as floating, in the sky. I stood up, hesitantly, and looked at the woman who had woken me up. Impossible. She looked like a regular woman. If regular women had pointy ears and a bluish-green light emanating from their bodies. I was speechless.
"All of this must be a lot to take in, I understand. You, however, deserve an explanation. It's simple, you've been blessed. Or cursed, however you see it."
I managed to get my first sentence out. "Why would someone do that to me?"
"I do not know, I have already tried to remove it, but the caster seems to be another of my kind. It appears you cannot speak or communicate to anyone about it, besides me."
"And who exactly are you?" I asked
"I am no one important. What you need to know is that this is exactly what I said, it can be a blessing, or a curse. Depending on how you use it. I knew you were already something I should keep an eye on, But I never imagined I'd be telling you this."
I waited for the rest of her words. " With this "ability" you can either become the most respected, or the most feared throughout the entire world. I am leaving it up to you to decide how you use it. But I warn you, each time you use thi-" "Merlin. MERLIN!"
The lady sighed, "It seems I'll have to help you with the rest later. Until next time, Fell blood."
I tried to ask more questions, but the sun grew brighter and brighter, until the next thing I know, I was awake
I woke up to Chrom walking the horse they had placed me on. "It's about time you wake up, we're here."
"Where exactly is 'here'?" I mumbled
Lissa started to sprint from where she was walking. "We made it. We're back home, to Ylisstol!"
