Me and Chris went to Bernie's (A coffee shop) He laughed and I flirted. I tried my best to get him to trust me and he does he wouldn't after all . I just sound so sweet and innocent.
He said he would walk me home. We walked and chatted endlessly. Slowly, we got closer to my house I was about to say bye when he slowly kissed me.
It was like and sweet and perfect.....I felt something stir deep inside me then I heard a mumbled word come out of Chris's soft red lips. He pulled away and growled sexily "mate"
My heart froze. My mate was a werewolf. Vampires sworn enemy and he was also meant to be my lunch. But something deep inside refused to let me drain him right there. I said as quickly as I could "I will see you tomorrow babe" He looked shocked. I could see he wanted me like I wanted him but it was wrong and as soon as I had cleared my head I knew I wouldn't feel anything towards him. Well.....I hoped.
Without a word I slipped through the door of my house never taking my eyes off him and softly closed the door.
I couldn't breath. My heart ,which stopped beating years ago, Fluttered.
I ran to my room. I cant let my parents find out if they knew I was dead. They would see me as a traitor and I was but that's when I thought of the possibilities. Now Chris will trust me no matter what and now I could get close enough to take down his full pack.
