until the day, we stand facing each other

Hwayeonah didn't sit down on the metal chair that her Mother had pushed her on, it looks uncomfortable to sit on. She stood by the wall with her arms crossed across her chest, and kept her eyes on the clock on the wall in front of her; her eyes started to get watery. She didn't let the tears leave her eyes but wiped them on the sleeve of her sweater. She started to feel dizzy as the clock's hand moved too quickly, it was hard to keep it in sight for a moment before it starts to move once more. Nothing else changed, but the time; the brown walls were the same colour as she looks around the space. It was currently ten fifty-three in the night, her mother was in a room with one of the sergeants that will bail out her father out of jail, he was showing her Mother some documents that were needing for some signatures from her hopeless Mother.

Her Mother pulled out the black pen from her small purse, and started to read the documents word by word, she didn't want to be robbed from her husband once again. Hwayeonah watches her Mother through the window with envy, some feelings that she wanted to get from her Mother, but she was too scared to ask. Her thoughts were interrupted by the loud band of the door as it was thrown open by the police as they entered carrying a young man by the arms, he was carrying a toy in his hand in the sight of Hwayeoah's vision. They dropped him onto the floor, causing him to fall hard against the floor and land on his face. The man just giggled as he tried to stand up on his legs, but quickly fell once more face forwards. One of the police on his sides had a get a hand of him and stand him up. The man pats the guy's cheek, as he leads against the desk.

"We got a call from the local residents, from the rich side, saying that they found him asleep by the main road." The officer not holding him says.

The representative starts to write the information down, his pen made a loud sound as it swiftly slides down the page. "What is your name, young man?" He looks at the man right in the eye, trying to make him feel uncomfortable, but the men started to laugh. The policemen that had his hands on him started to hold him tighter, the young men tried to push his arms off, but he was too dizzy for this.

"Hyuk," He says in a quiet voice.

"Hyuk what?" The representative mellows at Hyuk as he rights his name down. He didn't want o deal with this troublemaker night now. "Just place him against the wall right there." He points his finger at the wall right under the clock. He watches as they placed Hyuk harshly against the wall, his face against the wall. Hyuk just stood against the wall as the policemen left him there alone with his face pressed against the wall, he still had the toy tightly in his hand in which danglings from its ears.

Hyuk legs started to hurt from standing up too long that they ache, he moves from his position from the wall and spots the seat that Hwayeonah didn't take. He started to walk to the empty seat with wobbling steps to the seat. He noticed Hwayeonah standing by the wall right by the chair. "Excuse me, pretty lady, are you sitting on this chair?" Hwayeonah chest tightens as Hyuk asked her a simple question that she could nod or just shake her head too, but to the nice complain that he told her had her over heels.

Hyuk racks her body up and down before shrugging off his suit jacket and holding it out for her to wear. His soft melodious voice spoke his words louder, "Here wear it, it is too cold here. It would keep you warm." Hwayeonah mouth almost dropped when he placed the suit jacket on her shoulders and smiled when he was sacrificed. He dragged his body to the chair and laid across it, his eyes closed as he was prepared to go to sleep.
