~Gilbert's POV~
I stare at the ridges in the floorboards as Ludwig carries me away. Then he breaks the silence,
"You really need to stop acting like a child, I won't always be here to take care of you!" He says in his usual tone.
"Yeah, yeah I know!" I reply back, sounding childish then add, "and I'm the older brother you know!"
My brother sighs and puts me down on the old floorboards, and then says,
"Do I have to carry you or can you walk? we do have a meeting to get to."
"Ok, ok!! Geez," I say leaving a smirk on my face.
'At least I can give the guys a good story, I bet they would love to have been there!'
This makes my smirk grow even bigger as I continue to walk a bit faster as thoughts of the blond haired girl fill my mind.

~mattie's POV~
well I knew this meeting was going to be slow but I didn't expect this, at this point 1/3 of my fellow female countries were either asleep, fighting over something, or just spectating like me. Marianne was fighting with Elizabeth like always, and Amelia was laughing at the pair and their random insults.
{Elizabeth = fem. England}
"honestly, it feels like they ran out of names to call each other, now their insults don't even make sense," Kumarie says wile sitting in my lap. I jumped a bit, she startled me, I almost forgot that she was even there.
"what did I scare you or something?"
"N-no," I lied. "and your right about them, like 'frog face,' 'bushy brow' and 'ass-butt' aren't the b-best comebacks," I say. God why won't this meeting be over..... I wonder could I sneak out??
'Do it Mattie prove that you can be a rebel too!!' The voice in my head screams at me.
Ok, I decided. Time to look for some action! I slowly stand up from my Seat and begin the mission. I swiftly walk to the door and slip out silently.
'Good, now what.'
I look around for some form of adventure, Kumarie is sound asleep and so I give her a poke.
No luck.
Well I start to do the next most logical thing, I start to walk around, turning down random hallways until I'm lost.
'This isn't good...'
"I've never seen this part to the building before, where am I?" I say to myself. This talking must have woken up Kumarie because I start to feel struggling in my arms followed by a quiet yawn.
"Where are we, and who are you?"
Kumarie says.
"I'm Mattie, your owner." I pause for a second, "and I don't know."
Kumarie turns her head around observing the corridor. Slowly she takes a fuzzy paw and points to a room with light shining from underneath the door.
I get the message and start to walk towards the door.
