Jalh wasn't some miss guided pup, there was a reason he had picked this hotel. He knew a military man currently staying in the location, an ambassador of sorts keeping Earth's alliances to the great Empire. He walk slowly down the hall way, reaching the door number he was looking for, 395. Jalh took a step back knocking on the door of 394.
A man came to the door cracking it open to see the seven foot tall man peering in. Jalh gave the man a small smile before kicking the door down, and covering his mouth. He was shirtless and in his lounge pants. The ex-soldier glanced around the room paying no head to the struggling man. Jalh heard his muffled cries and rolled his eyes as he looked down at him.
"Fine, have it your way." Mr. Horker said, slamming his head into the floor.
Jalh placed his ear to the wall, listening for any sort of noise or motion. He felt the wall with his hand, trying to judge the material it was made of. He banged on the wall, trying for a response.
"I'm sleeping over here, quite down." A muffled cry yelled back.
Jalh felt the wall carefully, looking for any weak point in the structure. The walls felt as if they were made from sheet rock, something he could easily tear through. He smashed through the wall, white dust flying into the air, and on his shoulders. Suddenly, the man attacked thrusting a combat knife down towards Jalh.
The seven foot tall man stopped the attack, placing his arm underneath the attacker's wrist. Jalh saw a chance, countering with a giant's blow to the stomach. The man wore fatigues like a soldier, and carried a military gear knife. He was the man Jalh was looking for. Jalh quickly dispatched the man's weapon and slammed him into the wall with another massive blow, this time from the right. The poor fellow flew into the wall, the sheet rock breaking up as Jalh pinned him there with his mass.
"I'm looking for information. I'm Jalh Horker, who is trying to kill me? Who is in charge?"
The man gaged as Jalh's arm was over his throat, ready to pop off his head, "Why would I tell you?"
"Because if not I'm going to kill your family, and make you watch." Jalh replied tossing the man onto the ground. He followed him there, getting on his knees and punching him in the face.
"I don't get my orders from the man in charge, chain of command." The solider spat out, "You remember what that is?"
"Do I remember? I invented it, to stop stupid useless soldiers like you, from dying." Jalh replied, "Give me a name."
"Captain Sev" the struggling man replied.
"Good, now I'll just have to settle with killing you." Jalh said grabbing the man by the shirt.
Jalh dragged him to the window and tossed off the seven story building. The soldier must have had a few broken bones and some mean bruises if he didn't fight back. Jalh starred into his eyes as he fell what seemed an endless distance. He turned around walking out the locked door, brushing off the dust left on his shoulders before exiting the room. He walked slowly back to the apartment, all there was now was to wait until tomorrow.
The clock ticked in the hallway, ten O'clock. The staff had left for the night, and Jalh was ready for a good night's rest. He slipped back into the room; he was only gone for five minutes.
"Sorry about that," Jalh said, as he watched the woman and child gorge themselves on the food.
"Welcome back!" The woman said in delight.
