THE RAVEN'S VISIT

120 69 11

When the smell of death pollute thy air

It presence choke thy breath

Its whispers corrupt thy ears

When the spade breaks the soil

And thy heart bleeds its oil

When thou knoweth what the thunder rumbles

And thy ribs spread its wings in pride,

to glorify the raven's dark

Beware, thy hourglass is damned

And thy soul is marked.
