This chapter is a little bit longer than the first one xD sorry this took so long, hope it was worth the wait!
A dull thudding against his ceiling awoke Yoongi way too early on a Monday morning, well early by his standards, it was only a few minutes passed ten in the morning. He growled, forcing himself to sit up, realizing that he'd fallen asleep at the computer again and sighing. Stacks of books littered his entire apartment, clothes and other junk covering the floor from sight. He pushed his rolling chair away from the desk to rub his eyes, and forced his legs to stand. Once he was up on two feet, he shuffled into the cluttered kitchen to make himself a cup of coffee, noting that the thudding on his ceiling continued. He growled, cursing under his breath "damn it, I thought I taught him a lesson!" He huffed, pouring the piping hot liquid into the only clean coffee mug he owned, making a mental note to clean up his apartment as soon as he had met his deadline.
He took a sip, wincing at the beeping of his shrill ring tone echoing from his desk. He hated that ring tone, but his editor, publisher and close friend Seokjin made him keep it. The brunette had said something along the lines of "if its irritating and loud maybe you'll actually pick up the phone when I call" months ago, and since Yoongi didn't know how to change the ring tone he just dealt with it. Not like anyone really called him besides Seokjin... And Namjoon. Yoongi frowned slightly at the threat he'd received from his friend, slightly worried about what Namjoon would do when angry and drunk enough. He treaded over to his desk, picking up the phone and answering it grumpily "hello?" A slightly chirpy voice replied "good morning Yoongi, I'm guessing you pulled an all nighter by the irritation in your voice" Yoongi growled, hating how perceptive the older could be even over the phone "yeah I did. Because SOMEBODY," he coughed, mumbling "you," and coughed again, making his point "gave me a ridiculously small amount of time to write an entire book!" The older man chuckled, most likely rolling his eyes, something he did frequently "Yoongi you've written books in shorter amounts of time than two months!" Yoongi huffed "well yeah but I didn't have a time limit then. You know how stressed a schedule makes me, I don't do well with deadlines... Which is why I was gonna ask if I could have an extension-" Jin snapped "absolutely not. You know how many people are expecting this book by next month! You can't miss the deadline Yoongi, I'm sorry" Yoongi sighed in defeat "fine. I'll get it done, but you're buying me dinner after this is over" Jin hummed in agreement "alright deal. Oh and I set you up an appointment with the cities top psychiatrist in three months" Yoongi growled, kicking a random stool "I told you I'm not going to a shrink. There's nothing wrong with me that I can't handle on my own!" Jin sighed, tone softening "look, you and I've known each other for years Yoongi, I published your first book because I could tell you had talent. But you're conditions getting worse... I know you think you don't need help, but I'm worried about you" Yoongi bit the inside of his mouth, hating to admit defeat and see a shrink, but hated hurting Jin's feelings by refusing so he mumbled "I'll think about it, only for your sake" Jin's tone instantly brightened, and Yoongi could tell that the older was smiling as he replied "thank you, Yoongi. I'll talk to you in a few days yeah?" Yoongi nodded, humming in reply and when Jin said "oh tell Jiminie I said hey! Bye" he hung up with a slight grin.
Deciding shortly after the phone call that he should really wash a few clothes since he was completely out of clean shirts, he filled the laundry basket up with dirty clothes and grabbed some change. The stomping around on his ceiling hadn't ceased since he'd first noticed earlier that morning, but he decided he'd deal with the new tenant later. Just as he'd tucked his phone away in his pocket, along with his spare change, he took a deep calming breath and opened his apartment door cautiously. Realizing the hallway was empty, he stepped out and locked his door, balancing the laundry basket on his hip. After locking up he turned on his heel and quickly began his descent to the basement where the washer and dryers were located for tenants. Soon he was carefully walking down the last flight of stairs, opening the laundromat door by covering his hand with the sleeve of his hoodie to avoid germs and stepping in to see a familiar red head sitting on one of the washers. The boy smiled widely, eyes crinkling into crescent moon shapes as his sweet childlike voice cheered "Yoongi!" The blonde smiled gently, setting the basket aside as the younger boy pulled him into a tight hug "I was beginning to get worried about you Yoongi, I haven't seen you in weeks!" Yoongi shrugged "I've been working on a new book. It's due soon and I'm no where close to being done. Sorry for not updating you Jimin. Oh and Seokjin said to tell you hi for him" Jimin smiled widely, although concern clouded his eyes "well I'm glad you're okay. And why is it due so soon, also, when did you talk to Jin??" Yoongi dumped his basket of clothes into the wash, talking as he poured the soap in "he gave me two months to write the new book. And I just got off the phone with him, right before I came down here" Jimins smile faltered, worry and sadness clear on his face "are you okay?" Yoongi ignored the question, closing the washer lid and putting the proper amount of quarters in the machine. Jimin sighed, resting a hand on Yoongi's shoulder only for the older to flinch away "Yoongi... What's wrong? Have you thought about seeing Jins friend, the psychiatrist?" Yoongi rolled his eyes "I'm fine. And he's making me go see the shrink in a few months. Why does everyone think I'm so messed up that I need to pay someone to tell me I'm crazy?!"
