First Date

Veronica POV:

The thing is, I've never ever been on a date before - and I'm graduating this year. But, I hope this date is a memorable one. Anyway, where is Ryan taking me? Well, might as well find out.

*Arrives at library*

Me: Hey, Ryan.

Ryan: Hey.

Me: Quick question.

Ryan: What?

Me: Where do you think this is going?

Ryan: This isn't going to go insane. I thought it would be nice to catch a movie. You know. The both of us together.

Me: Alright. I have another question.

Ryan: What is it?

Me: Do you have the tickets?

Ryan: Yea. I do. In fact, they're right here in my hand. Plus, Popcorn's on me.

Me: That's really sweet of you. So, wanna get going?

Ryan: Oh yeah. Let's get going. (While walking) What time should we come back here?

Me (while walking): I usually leaving around 7. So, we should come back that time. Plus, I'm usually with my friends but, they're sick. You may want to walk me home.

Ryan (still walking): Alright. Will do.

*Date ends one hour later*

*Walking to Veronica's house*

Ryan POV:

Me: Hey, listen. I really enjoyed tonight.

Veronica: So did I. *Stops walking* Well, here's my stop.

Me (in my head): Wait, is this the part of the date where I kiss her?

Veronica POV:

I can't believe Ryan doesn't know that this is the part of the date where he kisses me.

Ryan POV:

I might as well end this date with something. A hug couldn't hurt. *Hugs Veronica*

Me: Veronica, I gotta go.

Veronica POV: 

Me: Wait, Ryan, please don't leave *Ryan disappears* me. I can't believe he just left me hanging there. Maybe agreeing to go on my first date with him was a bad idea after all. *Goes inside and locks herself in bedroom and starts breaking down into tears*

*Time: one in the morning.*

Me: *Steals parents' alcohol and gets drunk and later falls asleep*
