My Happily Ever After

Ice Cream

Once I reach the kitchen I quickly open the freezer and pull out the cookies and cream ice cream. I get a huge bowl and a spoon. As soon as I fill in the ice cream Nathan walks in the kitchen "Babe I want some too" he says pouting. I close the ice cream and put it back and walk out the kitchen towards the living room. "Baaabbbee don't be mad pleaseeee" Nathan whines I just sit down on the couch and Nathan plops down next to me "Nath I'm not mad so stop whining and eat" I say showing a spoonful of ice cream in his mouth "You see This was supposed to be romantic but your whining killed it" I say shaking my head Nathan just kisses my forehead and smiles sheepishly.

"Are you exciting were gonna know what were having tomorrow" Nathan says

"Of course I am hopefully it's one girl and one boy so they won't get confused" I say as Nathan nods his head.

We soon go back to bed and fall asleep

"Ok Eliza you know the procedure lay down and pull up your shirt" Dr.Reynolds says as I follow her instructions. Once I laid down Nathan grabs ahold of my hand and kisses my check before whispering in my ear "You ready Mrs.Sykes?" I just nod feeling too excited. Once the doctor is ready she starts getting her supplies ready "Ok Eliza it's going to be a little cold but nothing your not used to ok" I nod again. The doctor squirted the gel on my belly and started roaming around it with her tool. "There are your two babies and they look good growing at the right speed and the heart beat sounds normal" the doctor said as she points to the monitor and presses a button and the room filled with two beating noises those were my babies heart beats. I didn't notice that I was crying until I felt Nathan wipe away my tears and I could that his eyes also held a few tears. (what?! it's a cute moment) The doctors voice brought us out of our thoughts

"Ok Mrs. and Mr. Sykes you are having a ...."
