Finally Awake

As Toon Link groggily woke up from his deep sleep, he had noticed a sweet and flowery smell to his left. As he opened his eyes, he saw that Villager was lying beside him (and looking very comfortable). At first, he was a bit surprised, considering a boy had never slept with him before, but he really didn't mind at all.

"Hey, sleepyhead. Wake up!" Toonie said tiredly shaking Villager. "Bleh... Oh, hey. Dream well last night? I saw you sleeping and I thought you would like some company!" Villy yawned. "W-well, you suuure do like to move around when you sleep. It's okay, I didn't mind too much." Toon Link really didn't mind, he seemed to enjoy sleeping with him. He really liked his scent for some weird reason, and his hair was soft, almost like a furry pillow.

Villager patted Toon Link's head and then got up with a stretch. "Want some breakfast? I'm no professional, but I can make some really good Perfect Apple pancakes!" Toon Link remembered how his grandmother used to make the same thing, but he wondered if "Perfect Apples" were some sort of foreign fruit. "Sure." He said as he grabbed his suitcase to look for a pair of clothes, a toothbrush, and an old comb he seems to have gotten from his home. It was blue and had a Hyrulian emblem on it; it meant a lot to the blond boy, even if it was just a comb.

Villager's head peaked over his shoulder as Toon Link was inspecting the comb. "Hey Toonie, why ya staring at that comb?" Villy said with pure curiosity. "W-well... This means a lot to me. It was given to me by my sister after I had packed my things to leave. She probably really misses me, and after being on that train for so long, I miss her too..." Toon Link's eyes started to swell.

Villager stared at him gloomily, feeling as if he shouldn't have asked that. "I-I'm sorry... Please don't cry... I'm sure your sister wouldn't like it if she saw her big brother being sad like this." He wiped the tears from his eyes and gave Toonie a smile. "I'll try my best to make you happy" Villager wrapped his arms around him in a loving embrace, and cuddled his neck. "Thank you..." Toon Link said, softly.
