My Light in the Darkness

As they walked home late on that moonlit evening, the blond had looked up at the beautiful sky.
Villager turned to him and grabbed him by the shoulders, quickly grabbing his attention.
"Wasn't today the coolest, Toonie?" The blond shivered a little, feeling the warm touch of the village boy's hands softly on his cold shoulders. "I... really enjoyed the tour today, Villa! Your town is so neatly kept and beautiful, it reminds me of-"
He stopped himself.
The brunette stopped him, and playfully turned him around.
"Hehe, of what?"
"Of... Um..."
Toon Link didn't really know what to say, Villa's large brown eyes were staring into his, as if he was smiling into them.
"Of... The moon? Right, it reminded me of the moon!" Toon Link put on an awkward smile to hide his embarrassment.

The brunette gave a laugh, and took Toonie's hand as they began walking again.
Toon Link really loved how he emanated warmth. It's like Villager's smile made a furnace build inside of him.
His every thought soon turned into Villager.

"I'm really cold..." Toonie muttered as they walked.
"It IS starting to get pretty cold out here, huh? We should huddle together for warmth like penguins!"
As the brunette said this, he wrapped his arms around Toon Link, stopping him in a loving embrace.
The blond sat his head on top of his, and instantly felt his warmth. With his heart beating right out of his chest, and his elvish ears burning, he instantly felt safe with Villy.
