Hes Alive!? (Chapter 37)

Kenneth POV

It was almost 12 so me and Danielle started to go to her house now. I'm kinda nervous for some reason. I wonder if Danielle's dad is really alive. I just know that today isn't gonna be a day to forget. Me and Danielle are now holding hands walking back to her house.

I look at her and noticed she is shaking. I pull her hand to my mouth and kiss it. She looks at me giving me a small but worried smile

Kenneth-Dani don't worry, everything is going to be fine

Danielle-Ok

We then reach her house and her mom just walked outside. She spotted us and smiled

Danielle's mom-Good thing you guys are here in time. Get inside the car and let's go

We do as told and get inside the car. When we get inside we see a blanket and pillows. We give Danielle's mom a confused look but she doesn't say anything until we start driving. We start driving and go on the highway

Danielle's mom-The blanket and pillows are for you guys to use because this is gonna be a long ride.

20 mins into the ride Danielle takes off her jacket so she is in her sweater and grabs the blanket. She then lays in my lap cuddling the blanket. I kiss her cheek and she smiles. I put my headphones in my ears and listen to music. I then rest my arm on Danielle's side. I then felt my eyes get heavy and slowly start to close. I then fall asleep.

~1 hour later~

I woke up and we were at the army place. Wow it looked so cool. We see people training and hanging out. Mostly training though. I woke up Danielle and she realized the we are here. She looks out the window and smiles. We then get out the car and go inside the academy or whatever. We go in and people stare at us. Mostly staring at Danielle. It looks like they know her here. We stop at a door

Danielle's mom-Guys wait here I'm gonna go inside.

Kenneth & Danielle-Ok

Danielle's mom goes inside and we sit on the chairs outside the door. We start talking

Danielle-When they dig up my dad I'm not gonna watch cause I don't wanna cry.

Kenneth-I don't wanna watch either it's seems unusual to watch.

Danielle-I hope he is alive I really miss my dad

Kenneth-I hope so too, I would really like to meet him

Danielle-but I wonder why all of a sudden they say that he is alive

Kenneth-Well anything can happen

She laughed a little and then smiled. Now this is what I love to see. I love to see her smile. And hear her cute laugh. This is what makes me smile

Minutes later Danielle's mom comes out and she tells us to follow her. We follow her and she leads us outside. We see people outside Surrounding a grave. Danielle hugs me and buries her face in my chest so she doesn't have to watch. I bury my face in her hair so I don't need to watch either.

We hear all kind of stuff happening. Stuff I can't even imagine. I don't know what's going on and I don't wanna know. Minutes later we hear nothing. And people walking away. I take a little peek. And it was over, the people had a man on a stretcher carrying him inside. I see Danielle's mom and is crying but has a small smile on her face. I let go of Danielle and she looks around

Danielle-What happened

Danielle's mom-They went inside so we have to go in now.

We go walk inside and Danielle has her head on my shoulder. We walk hand in hand together and stop at a door.

Danielle's mom-Wait here

She goes into the room and talk to a man. 15 minutes later they hug and she comes back to us smiling and tears in her eyes.

Danielle's mom-Hey guys I want you to meet someone

Danielle's eyes go wide and she starts following her mom. I follow behind them. We go to a room and I see a man on a bed. He is hooked up to a Machine and has a needle In his arm

Danielle's mom-I'll leave you guys here and wait outside the door.

She leaves and me and Danielle sit on a chair right next to the bed. I stare at the man, he looks just like Danielle

Danielle POV

Me and Kenneth are sitting next to the bed.  I watch the most amazing man lay down on the bed. That's right, that man is my dad. He looks the same. I think he is sleeping. But if he wakes up I will be the happiest daughter in the world. I looked at Kenneth and see him with a confused look.

Danielle-What's wrong?

Kenneth-That man on the bed looks like you

Danielle-Kenneth, that's.......my dad

Kenneth looks at me and smiles. I smile back and hold his hand. He stares at my dad smiling

Kenneth-What's your dad like?

When he asks that, I start thinking about how amazing my dad is. He is loven, kind, cares about everything and everyone, and he speaks his mind. And lots more

Danielle-he is cool, kind, sweet loven, cares about everything and and everyone. And he is funny. And has a smile that would make you happy*smiles*

Kenneth-So he is like..... You?

Danielle-Whatever*laughs*

Well people had said in the past I was just like my dad. I want him to wake up so I get up and go talk to him.

Danielle-Hi dad, it's me. Danielle your daughter. I wanted to tell you that I missed you so much. And I want you to wake up now. I'm here with mom and my boyfriend. Ya, you must be thinking you don't want your little girl having a boyfriend. But Kenneth is an amazing guy and you are gonna love him. Oh yeah his name is Kenneth in case you got confused. I also became a dancer a few years ago and now, I'm well known by a lot of people. I remember when you told me to follow my dreams and never give up on what I want. So I listened to what you said and look at me now, I'm a talented dancer with the people I love. But dad, over the years I missed you so much. I missed everything you did for me and the things we did together. You always made me happy. You always baked cookies with mom and you use to dance silly with me every time our favourite songs came on. If you woke up we can still do those stuff. Please dad wake up I need you, I love you......

After I said all that I turned around and started walking back to my seat next to Kenneth but then I heard a voice that I never heard in years.........

???-I love you too

I turned around and my dad was awake. Tears started to come down my face and then I ran to my dad

Danielle-Dad!!!

I ran too him and hugged him. He hugged back and I started to cry even more. I was just so happy he was alive. I can't Believe I got my dad back.

Kenneth called my mom and she came rushing in. She smiled and tears came down her face. I pulled away from my dad and he looked at my mom. He smiled and she ran into his arms. They cried and I hugged Kenneth. Kenneth had a few tears coming down his far too, i guess he thought that this a happy moment too

All I can say is that I am blessed to have my dad back and I couldn't be any happier
