Jordan Mitchell, a thirty five year old participating in the annual Purge in Detroit, Michigan in 2009. The Purge, an event during which all crime is legalized for twelve hours.
Jordan is one of the best Purgers out there, causing her to be the one...
(Tuesday, March, 17th, 2009 - Four days till the annual purge)
"You have shit in your closet Jordan" Tuba said while looking through my closet.
Since I'm going out with Marshall tonight for dinner, she's helping me look for something to wear. Tuba doesn't know yet though that it's Eminem I'm going on a date with, or keeping safe on the night of the purge. I don't know how to tell her, I know she's a big fan of him.
"Okay, I get it. Jordan doesn't have a good fashion sense" I said, and talked about myself in the third person.
"No, it's not that, cause you do, but for your date tonight you have shit" Tuba said, and walked out of my closet. "Who you going out with anyways?" Tuba asked, and took a seat on my bed along with me.
"Don't freak out" I said.
"I won't" Tuba said.
"Eminem, he's also the celebrity I have to keep safe on purge night" I said, and Tuba's mouth dropped open.
"Oh my god, Baegal!" Tuba said, and started jumping on my bed.
"Didn't I just say not to freak out.." I chuckled, and watched Tuba jump on my bed.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry, but it's Eminem!" Tuba said, and sat back down on the bed.
"It's alright, I was surprised too" I said.
"Now I have the perfect outfit idea!" Tuba said while jumping off my bed, and running into my closet.
"It better not be an Eminem teeshirt" I yelled out.
"It's not, here" Tuba said, and came out with an outfit in her hands. "Go get ready girl" Tuba said, and pushed me to my bathroom.
After about two hours of getting ready I'm finally dressed, just waiting for Marshall to get here. I'm wearing a gray sweater dress with rips on the thigh, and black knee high heels. Getting dressed wasn't what took me two hours, Tuba helping me flat iron my curly hair is what took up most of the time.

"You look great! Well, Marshall Mathers will be here any minute so I'm going to get going. Call me later, and tell me everything" Tuba said, and gave me a hug.
"I will don't worry, oh can you lock the front door on your way out?" I asked Tuba before she left my bedroom.
"On it, see ya" Tuba waved, and disappeared out of my room.
I stood up from my vanity, and walked around my room. Now we wait. I took my phone, and shuffled through my music playing bedrock on my Bluetooth speaker.
"He say I'm bad, he probably right, He pressing me like button downs on a Friday night, I'm so pretty like, Be on my pedal bike, Be on my low starch, Be on my echo whites, He say Nicki don't stop you the bestest, And I just be coming off the top as bestest" I rapped along to Nicki's verse as I danced around my room.
A bunch of songs played before I heard a knock at my front door. I stopped playing my music, and walked out of my bedroom, walking down the stairs. Before I opened the door I took a deep breath, and then opened the door to see Marshall standing there looking pretty damn fine.
Marshall's wearing a light gray long sleeve shirt, with dark blue jeans, and a pair of nikes. Honestly he looks real sexy, Tuba's probably super jealous right now.
"Hi" I smiled.
"You look really, really nice" Marshall said while taking a look a my whole body.
"Um, thank you" I said, and nervously chuckled.
"Ready to go?" Marshall asked.
"Um, give me one second" I said, and let him in then rushed upstairs. Quickly, I grabbed my phone, and reapplied some lipstick before heading back downstairs to Marshall.
"I'm ready now" I said, and Marshall stood up from the couch.
We walked out of my house, and I locked up before walking to his car that was parked in my driveway. Marshall opened up the passenger side door, and I hopped in. Once I was buckled in Marshall jogged around the car, and got in to the drivers side.
After having dinner at this super nice place where nobody knew it was him, Marshall brought me to a house that was on fire. The police, and firemen won't be here for like an hour, so we sat on the swing set in front of the house as it burned. We started talking about our family's, random things, and the way we wished our childhood was like.
"It's almost beautiful" I slightly chuckled.
"You know when I was little, I always wanted to live in a house like this" Marshall said.
"I got out of my parents house as soon as I could. I left home when I was sixteen, what about you?" I asked him.
"Sorta the same, why'd you wanna leave so bad?" Marshall asked.
"My parents are both drug addicts, and fought with me every time I tried to get them help. I didn't wanna be involved with that anymore" I said.
"Damn, hey, can I ask you a question?" Marshall asked.
"Yeah, anything" I said, and swung a little on the swing.
"Why do you purge? Like, why do you kill people?" Marshall asked.
"I've been hurt way too many times in my life, it may sound weird, but it's kinda like a stress reliever" I said, and lightly chuckled.
"Don't know why anybody would wanna hurt you, you're beautiful" Marshall said, and I started blushing. I started covering my face with my hands to stop showing I was blushing. "Are you blushing?" Marshall chuckled.
"No" I said with a smile on my face, and Marshall removed my hands from my face.
Marshall cupped my face with one hand, and brought our faces closer together. I shut my eyes, and tilted my head slightly along with Marshall as he pressed his lips against mine. The kiss felt good, honestly. We pulled away from the kiss, and started chuckling.
"Did we just..?" I asked.
"Yeah, and I liked it" Marshall said with a smile on his face after he chuckled.
"Me too" I smiled. Just then cop sirens went off along with a firetruck.
"Oh shit, we gotta go" I said, and got up from the swing along with Marshall.
Marshall linked our hands together as we ran down the street to get away from the house, and ran towards his car at the end of the block. This was honestly the best date ever.
