XIII.Flirting.

I woke up early than usual today. I don't know why but I didn't feel like sleeping anymore.

Right now, I am sitting on the breakfast table not paying attention to what my mom was rambling about.

I love my mom very much but she can be annoying sometimes. And besides all my thoughts were occupied by Tyler.

I know I shouldn't but anyways I did enjoy dancing on his lap. At first, I was shocked to see it was him but then it was pretty much obvious why they picked him.

All the while dancing I could feel his budge through my dress, that means I had some effect on him.

That mere thought made my cheeks go red.

But that doesn't matter anymore. He is clearly not interested in me like I am in him.

I glanced at my watch, well its time to leave for school.

"Bye, mom! I need to get going!" I said and kissed her cheek.

"Bye honey. Don't forget your mobile phone. " She said as I made my way to the living room and picked up my mobile from the coffee table. I ruffled Jerry's fur, who was snuggled on the couch.

Lucky you Jerry, what a life?!

There were 10 missed calls and 7 messages, all from Tyler. I was about to delete them when my mobile started ringing.

It was Tyler again. I sighed and picked up.

"Hello, April!" He rushed into the caller.

"What?" I snapped.

"What happened?" He asked softly.

"Like you don't know. Don't call me. Go suck faces with that windy b-itch!" I yelled and hung up, immediately regretting what I just did.

I have no right to yell at him. I probably sounded like a nagging girlfriend, which I am absolutely not.

"Shoot!" I sighed and drove to school.

The day can't get more annoying. All of my friends were talking about the 'amazing' party.

The hell!

I was walking down the corridor when I heard my named being called by someone familiar from behind me.

"April!"

I slowly turned around to see Tyler jogging towards me. Everyone stopped doing whatever they were doing to stare at him with confusion.

Though girls were eyeing him like a cotton candy, I just rolled my eyes.

Lexi nudged her elbow at my side.

"April!" Tyler breathed out.

"Tyler, what the hell are you doing here?" I snapped.

"Listen to me and I will go!" He demanded.

"Look, you don't have to explain me anything ... I am sorry for yelling at you earlier, it's none of my business." I said.

"Will you just listen once?" He said firmly.

"Once upon a time Tyler nobody gave a fuck! " I snapped and turned around.

I know I am being a hypocrite and a total b-itch. But hey ...

I started walking away when...

"And once upon a time I loved you ..." He yelled and my heart skipped a beat and I immediately turned back.

"What?" I asked.

And he started laughing ...

"You should see your face " he choked out.

"Pig!" I huffed.

"See. I didn't kiss her ..." He started and explained that he was walking down the hall, when windy came and jumped on him and tried to kiss him.

But before he could push her, I might have saw them.

He said he pushed her and yelled at her for pulling such a stunt.

I always knew how windy can be such a whore. But should I trust Tyler just like that. Though he wouldn't have risked coming here if he wasn't telling truth.

" I like you April. I really like you. I would never hurt you purposely. You have to believe me. " He said softly and I knew I have to forgive him.

"Let go, forgive him!" Lexi murmured by my side.

"You are an ass-butt!" I giggled, poking my finger on his chest. I stepped forward.

"Shut up turtle brains." He replied stepping closer.

"Donkey balls!"

"Sausage skin!"

"Potato face!"

By now Tyler's arms were wrapped around me.

"Ladies and gentlemen, that is a fine example of how not to flirt." Lexi says loudly.

Everyone looks at us, it's not like we haven't created a scene already.

I stared at him and he stared at me.

"I am sorry!" He whispers and I smile at him.

"So can I ask you on a date Ms. Hayden?" He asks with a heartwarming smile and I nod shyly.

"Was it too hard to ask me out Callahan?" I whisper as he rests his forehead on mine.

"C'mon you two, no one can understand you both!" From nowhere Joe stepped between us and we all started laughing.

"You sure as hell don't know how to flirt man!" Joe laughs at Tyler.

"I don't need to flirt with Hayden. She has me wrapped around her little finger." Tyler winks at me.

Wow, even I am disturbed! Don't know what to say.
