A/N: This is the draft as it was, it's been nearly a year since I started writing this and the exact same amount of time since I gave up on it.

Stiles dead, Derek starts reading a journal he found in his new room in the new house, the journal gets Stiles to become 'alive.'

"Derek, come pick your room."

The Hales had just moved in a new house that looked sort of like a mansion. The place was huge and right in the middle of the forest. It was perfect. The Hales all lived together and there was about twenty-five family members. The mansion had enough room for everyone which was great and it was in a clearing in the woods which was even better. With the number of children in the family, a large place to play was needed and since the Hale children were quite keen on playing outside, the clearing was perfect. They were only a few miles away from Beacon Hills, about twenty, and had enough cars to be able to fit all the provisions they would be getting there.

Derek was a bit scared of getting lost in the mansion but he looked through every room until he found the perfect bedroom. It was small, there was no denying that, but it was definitely cosy. It had a balcony which provided the only source of natural light and a walk-in closet. The room was big enough for a bed, a nightstand, and a desk.

Derek put down his bag and his suitcase and walked out on the balcony. The view was amazing. He could see the forest very well from where he was. It was quiet out. It was almost eery. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, it was just odd.

Derek went back to the front excitedly, "I found the perfect room!"

His mum looked over at him, "Really? Where is it?"

Derek pulled his mum by the arm, "Come on, come see. It's a bit far, but I like it."

Derek's mum, surprised at her son's antiques, followed him. When the room came into view, Derek ran inside it. Talia followed in and looked around the room. It was quite tiny but it was discreet and quiet, just like Derek himself. No wonder he liked this room.

"I'll tell the movers where to put your boxes, then."

Derek smiled at his mum and went back onto the balcony.

Moving might be a lot better than he though it would be, after all.

3 MONTHS LATER

Derek was on his bed, reading when he decided to look for the door that belonged to the key... Or was it the contrary?

He had found a key in the closet and wanted to find the door it opened. He had been searching for nearly three months but still nothing.

He had looked everywhere and he was starting to get annoyed; that damned door couldn't be invisible!
