Chapter 9 ♥

Alexis P.O.V

Oh gosh this is going to be the most horriblest dinner ever. i sat in my room thinking of everything that is going to go wrong in just a few minutes. why me, why now. I got up off my bed and changed into something more comfortable yet cute and presentable.

My hair was in its natural wavy curls and I redid my mascara, eyeliner, and foundation. I checked myself once more in the mirror and then the doorbell rang. Oh my gosh, here comes the worst day ever. I heard them talking downstairs and I knew it was time for me to go down there.

I walked out my room shut my door and stood at the top of the staircase. I took a deep breath and walk down. each step I took the more visible he became, he was not even looking he was on his phone thank goodness.

I got to the bottom of the stairs and gave a smile to Anne and my mother. I looked at Harry who was still looking down at his phone, I put my hand out and said.......

" Hi, I'm Alexis ? "

His head snapped up to look at me, his beautiful big green sparkly eyes went wide when he noticed it was me. I was scared to how he was going to respond.

was he going to freak out, was he going to blurt everything out that I had did. I just didn't know what to do, then he lifted his big bare hand and shook my tiny one and replied to me.......

" Hi, I'm Harry ? "

and he did a little smile to the side showing one of his dimples. I returned the smile. My mom lead all of us to the dining room to eat dinner, she made my favorite chicken alfredo pasta.

we were all seated and I had to sit across from Harry. I tryed not to make any contact with him until my mother opened her mouth.

" So Harry, how are you doing ? "

my mother asked. I started getting nervous cause I know where she is going with this.

" Erm, I'm good, really, just focused on graduating school that's all. " Harry politely smiled to my mother.

" Ohh that's really good. "

" Yeah. " Harry nodded.

Anne leaned a little towards my mother and asked if she could use the restroom,  my mom kindly nodded yes.

" Its down the hall, 2nd door to the left. "

" Thank you " Anne said nicely.

My mother started to talk again and my nerves came back.

" So harry who's the lucky girl that has your heart ? " my mother asked.

I was way beyond nervous. I picked up my water and took a big drink,  you can tell harry felt awkward as he shifted in his seat and played with hands.

" Well no one yet, I guess I just haven't found her yet. " Harry replied.

" Oh, well you know, Alexis is sing- "

I cut her off before she can say anything else.

" Okay mom that's enough, thank you for that very awkward conversation. "

I got up out of my seat then Anne walked back in and sat down in her seat.

" I'm going to get some more ice water, I'll be right back. " I said and walked into the kitchen I put my hands on the sink and took a deep breath, this dinner was taking forever, my palms were all sweaty and gross so I washed them I filled my glass and took a sip.

" Your moms nice. "

I turned around and saw Harry standing there looking at me.

" yeah and very embarrassing too. " I said to him.

He gave the cutest little chuckle ever and his accent was so cute as well. I guess I like guys with accents Zayn has an accent too and I thought he was cute well i did like him even before I knew he had an accent but still.

" So Alexis, about those texts.... HOW COULD YOU, IM SO MAD AT YOU, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT! ? "

My jaw dropped. he was really mad at me after he said he would laugh it off. I was a bit scared, he looked at me and smiled, I was confused until he busted out laughing.

" WOW " I smiled back at him. " your a jerk ahaha. " I thought it was pretty funny to cause I believed him.

" you should have seen your face it was priceless ahahaha. " I lightly punched his arm. " I hate you " I sarcastically said and smiled at him.

" I'm sorry " harry smiled at me.

I could feel my cheeks turn red so I covered my face I felt a pair of hands grab mine and pulled them away from my face. my heart started beating faster, our fingers interlocked with each other's and he leaned in really slowly. his green eyes started to slowly shut,as well as mine. I leaned in. his lips were softly pressed to mine. they were warm and It felt like fireworks were going off.

My hands went around his neck and one went into his curly hair, his hands layed softly on my sides. our lips moved perfectly together, it was like something I never felt before. he pulled back and whispered to me....

" Don't ever hide your face, its to beautiful to be hidden. "

that made my heart flutter and a smile to come across my face.

" Harry its time to go!!! " I heard Anne yell from the other room.

Harry gave me one last kiss on the cheek and whispered in my ear.

" Goodnight Love "

" goodnight " I whispered back. He walked out, I heard him thank my mom for dinner then the door shut.

I walked out and mad my way up stairs to my room.

" So did you like him? " my mother asked me.

" uhh sure he's whatever. " obviously I lied, there is no way in hell am I telling my mom what just happened. I ran to my room and layed on my bed replaying mine and Harry's kiss. its like I could still feel his lips on mine. my phone buzzed notifying me I had a text message.

Goodnight sweet dreams, I'll see you tomorrow at school.Xxx

as I layed there in bed I just couldn't believe that I thought today was going to be the worst day ever and turned out to be the complete opposite. I couldn't wait for school tomorrow.
